This part of Mufasa’s death ruined me

Scar is so sadistic. The way he comforts Simba with his paw and then instantly TAKES IT AWAY once he tells him “if it weren’t for you, he’d still be alive” and leaves him to cry. Like he no longer deserves comfort, or any love or understanding. And then rubs salt in the wound with “what will your mother think?”

Scar trained this baby to hate himself.

Caplyta’s been working for me, but do the side effects go away?

I’ve been on Caplyta 42mg for 11 days now. I take it at night.

Since the first day, I had increased fatigue to the point it’s almost intolerable. I’m also a little cognitively slower.

But it’s the first medication in so long that’s made me feel like a normal person. 🥲 I finally feel lifted from my insanely deep depression that’s been unresponsive to pretty much everything else.

I want to stay on it in the hopes the fatigue will go away. I think I’ll give it a month. Is that enough time?

Did anyone else have increased fatigue go away for them?

Is there any hope for my situation?

My psych also suggested a lower dose if the fatigue lasts too long. Has anyone gone on a lower dose for this reason and still experience the benefits?

Thank you

I haven’t watched The Lion Guard. Should I?

I’ve watched all TLK content and am kind of starved for more of it (at least some that I would both like and consider canon, but i don’t think that’ll happen).

Haven’t watched TLG though. From what I’ve seen at a glance, I don’t like the art style at all, Simba sounds weird when it’s not Matthew Broderick, the ability to communicate with dead characters cheapens their deaths, and some of the new characters are annoying like they would only appeal to very young kids. But a lot of people in the fandom like TLG. I see a lot of fanart of it.

Is everything I dislike something I can get past? Is it actually worth watching?

My thoughts on Nala when she reunites with Simba

This is a headcanon of mine.

I’m not saying Nala wasn’t genuinely interested in and attracted to Simba, but I think she really pushed their relationship to grow after Simba refused to go back to Pride Rock. First she steps away upset, says “You dont know how much this will mean to everyone. What this means to me.” - which strikes me as a sort of emotional appeal. Then instantly bunts him, to Simba’s surprise.

Then that seductive look she gives Simba during CYFTLT and so on. It just all seemed to move really fast.

I really think there was a part of her that was trying to seduce him for the purpose of getting him to go back with her. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work in her favor.

But I do think she was genuinely attracted to him and being alone in the middle of nowhere with Simba after everything she went through back home, was a nice escape for her.

What are your thoughts?

Just a small detail I noticed in this scene

It cuts very quickly to Nala and Sarabi after this. I never noticed Simba’s facial expression here. Like he’s extremely nervous. So when he starts climbing he’s trying to be strong. Then when he gets to the end of the rock and looks up for the first time, it’s almost like he’s having second thoughts like “Am I worthy of this?” And then when Mufasa tells him to “Remember” Simba is reminded of who he was as a cub - he couldn’t wait to be king, and he often practiced his roar. So that gave him the confidence to establish his role as king.

Just my interpretation 😊 it’s one of my favorite parts of this movie.

Just got my Thor - looking to download Skyrim and mod it

Hey all, no longer have my old PC from years ago with all my Skyrim mods and I’m hoping the Thor could cure my recent cravings.

Not sure where to begin as I’m new to emulation - as far as where to download Skyrim, get mods, settings for good gameplay, etc. Anyone have a setup?

Thanks!

For those who are upset that they aren’t seeing changes on 1.5mg, 4mg, 9mg…

Anecdotal of course but this has been my experience:

1.5 - little appetite reduction, no weight loss.

4 - some appetite reduction, abysmally slow weight loss, back and forth.

9 - little more appetite reduction, abysmally slow weight loss but no back and forth.

Now on 25 - Lost 3 lbs in two weeks, effortlessly. Zero food noise. I literally do not care to eat and have had to force myself to (hopefully temporary, don’t want to starve myself).

If you’re not seeing the changes you want, I’d hold off judgment until you feel what 25mg is like.

Concerned about eating too little

Started the 25mg a couple weeks ago and actually started losing weight, but I barely want to eat. Plus I’m experiencing constipation, bloating, etc. which isn’t helping.

I’ve been having to force myself to eat and I hate it. I’m experiencing this baseline nausea and increased fatigue. Some headaches too.

I’m staying hydrated and eating small meals throughout the day but I’m worried it doesn’t even touch 1000 calories.

Is this temporary? Will I have a regular appetite again?
