Looking for orchestral libraries with a darker, more restrained tone.

Most of the orchestral libraries I've tried have a very bright, polished sound that feels designed for epic scores, action trailers.

'm actually looking for the opposite: a more subdued, muted, atmospheric sound with slower attacks, softer dynamics, and a darker overall character.

For example, if I were writing long string or woodwind passages for something like Resident Evil 4's quieter village atmosphere, I'd want that kind of intimate, enveloping texture rather than a huge orchestral sound.

To clarify, I'm not looking for horror libraries, jump-scare effects, dissonant clusters, or unsettling experimental textures.

Can you help me identify if this soundtrack album uses sample libraries or real recordings?

I'm noticing some cello sounds — like in 'The Two Moon Princesses' (00:35)— that are really crisp and clean, almost with no background noise.

In 'Marmaduke Scarlet' (00:20) are also some flutes that sound closer or farther away, as if they were playing around with mic placement.

Overall, I really love the sound of this album. The spatial quality and the texture feel very pleasant. It's not overly bright either — it's quite intimate and close-sounding.

I've had a hard time finding orchestral libraries with this kind of polished sound. If you have any recommendations for something similar, I'd be really happy to hear them, since most of the libraries I've bought come with pretty annoying noise that ends up muddying the composition a bit.

Help identifying a ambient sound (3:53)

Do you think this is a string library, or more likely a synth preset designed to emulate strings?

I really like the attack and the expression it has.

Does it remind you of any particular instrument, library, or preset? Or do you have any ideas on how to recreate this sound?

[PAID] Looking for help building a ComfyUI workflow for sneaker product photography — background removal + relighting.

Hey! I'm building an automated batch workflow for my sneaker catalog and I'm willing to pay for the right setup. Looking for someone experienced with ComfyUI who can help me put this together.

What the workflow needs to do:

  1. Load a batch of sneaker photos from a folder (all with different backgrounds and lighting)

  2. Remove background and place subject on a clean white background

  3. Auto-center the sneaker with consistent padding/margins

  4. Apply a unified, neutral lighting setup to all images using IC-Light (or similar)

  5. Preserve all original details — logos, textures, stitching, materials

  6. Export the final images in batch, ready for web/ecommerce

The tricky part: the relighting needs to be conservative enough that it doesn't hallucinate or alter product details. Consistency across the whole catalog is the priority.

I'm new to ComfyUI! If anyone's willing to help over DM, I'd love that No calls or voice needed — just screenshots and text works perfectly for me!

Looking for orchestral string libraries with a 'Wet', intimate sound (similar to Albion One)

I'm looking for an orchestral string library—especially violins—with a very wet, intimate, and smooth sound.

I've tried several libraries, but many of them have this subtle scratchy bow noise or textured layer that's meant to make them sound more realistic. Personally, I don't enjoy that. I prefer a sound that feels close, lush, soft, and almost glossy, without emphasizing the mechanical details of the bow.

One library I really like is Albion One, because its strings have exactly that kind of character. I'm wondering if there are other libraries with a similar timbre.

Realism isn't my main priority. I'm much more interested in the morphology and tone of the sound. I don't mind if it sounds slightly synthetic—as long as it's beautiful, smooth, and emotionally rich.

Any recommendations? Thanks!

I'm looking for mysterious fonts like Goudy Old Style or Tobias; I don't know which one is in the image. If you know of any similar ones, that would work too! Thanks
