Classic hip carry with Didymos woven wrap Fit Check please

Dear Babywearing community,

(btw I love it here!)

I tried a classic hip carry with my 15 week old using my size 4 woven wrap. I wanted a carry that I can just put on and use quickly at home without retying. It took a few tries to get the loop length correct so that she would not lean back and the top rail would not be too loose. I think it is still not snug as it should be but any tighter, I cannot put the baby in the wrap. I welcome any suggestions and solutions please :)

Also can the baby have one arm out if she has great trunk control?

Also what to do with the tail 😅

Thanks in advance!

I cry almost every night and I don't know what to do

My 15 week old has not been able to consistently connect sleep cycles in her crib since around 10 weeks old, both for naps and nighttime sleep, and I am honestly not coping well anymore.

Most crib transfers fail within 3–40 minutes. Occasionally she connects one cycle, but most nights she wakes constantly and has no reliable long stretch. We ended up doing chest sleeping in shifts with my husband because otherwise none of us sleep and she also becomes overtired.

Her wake windows are usually somewhere between 80 minutes and 2 hours, and naps range from 15–45 minutes. Her total daytime sleep is somewhere between 3.5-4 hours. She usually wakes at 7:30 and sleeps at 9 pm but sometimes, the day starts at 6:30 and she is ready to party.

As we are approaching 4 months, I keep thinking about trying a more structured schedule or some gentle form of sleep training, but I am honestly scared to try anything new because I feel like every change somehow makes things worse.

It is currently 4 AM and she is asleep on my chest after 3 failed transfers.

I guess I am looking for experiences from people who had similarly difficult sleepers at this age. Did it improve with time? Did anything help? Right now this feels endless.
