Turkey Fryer Pot ->5g Buckets w/Bags maybe with an Ice Cream Machine for added fun!

I was wondering if anyone had used a large turkey frying pot as the main agitation vessel with the ice. They have a spigot built in that drains from a bit off the bottom and are made of aluminum.

I would then have my series of bags ready to strain through in buckets for collection.

To automate stirring I was thinking of getting an old ice cream machine motor or upright stand mixer and adding a paddle and rigging it over the pot.

Is this a horrible idea for any reason? It seems like a durable wash method and would protect the bags.

Thoughts and suggestions?

Thrifted Master Chef Wok $5.49

Found this at an Arc. Cleaned the aluminum exterior with baking soda and the stainless interior with Bar Keepers friend. The handle looks a little bent imo but I do not see that changing performance. Looking forward to using it for small frying of side dishes and seafood.

6 plants 1 week into flower. Stop training?

I've been tucking growth above the net back under and overall trying to get max bud sites. It's my first grow in 20 years. Any tips are appreciated!

Oysters on Father's Day

One of my wicking beds is inoculated with Oyster mushrooms. I thought they were done due to the heat but I got a nice little surprise this morning under one of my tomato plants. Happy Father's Day to all and I am looking forward to saute these later this afternoon.

The mushroom gnomes are working overtime

I got a bunch of oyster mushroom substrate leftovers from a local grower (shout out Alex in Denver!) and added them to my raised garden bed. I hope it's a beneficial situation because they are coming in strong!

New Hydro Setup - It seems to work.

First grow ever. Waterfall DWC with the full 5x5 advanced kit plus the humidifier. Plants sprouted about a week ago. I filled the system with RO water and am going to rinse the soil and swap to full hydro once I get my second set of leaves. Thoughts and opinions?

I had them under a moving blanket and these plastic bowls I use as poor man's cloches. The buckets only had the cloches. I hope everyone else was as fortunate!

I just went through security and my bag was flagged with the Micro B. I expected it so I left my nuclear weapons and heroin in my checked bag.

They recommended taking anything with a "trigger" out and explaining its use before X-ray and leaving it in your bag in the airport.
