Buying TTTXX with unsettled funds - margin interest charge?

Last week I sold an ETF Monday morning, and bought TTTXX with the unsettled funds same day, so the TTTXX trade settled same day and the ETF sell didn't settle until Tuesday.

Now I'm seeing a huge margin interest charge in my balances corresponding to one day of interest. Is this supposed to happen? I thought you were able to trade with unsettled funds without incurring interest?

Removing a fireplace entirely?

I want to get rid of my fireplace entirely, and leave an empty alcove. What are the chances the fireplace is load bearing? Is there a way to tell without taking down the drywall?

Picture for reference: https://imgur.com/a/j6W0s5S

It's one of those gas inserts with a metal tube flue behind the drywall, not brick or anything like that. The wall is an exterior wall, and the alcove and chimney bump out of the side of the house.

International ATM fees for premier/diamond tier?

The benefits summary just says:

> Enjoy global ATM access with no fees – ever.11

But then in the fine print, their description for this is kind of ambiguous:

>Account owners enrolled in BofA Rewards who qualify for the Preferred Honors or Premier tier will qualify for a waiver of the non-Bank of America ATM fee for withdrawals and transfers from non-Bank of America ATMs in the U.S. and receive a refund of the ATM operator fee when using a Bank of America Debit or ATM card.

Does that mean the "operator fee" is refunded for all ATMs or just US based ones?

Round plastic nub thing on door strike plate

What's the round plastic thing on the curved part of a door strike plate called? It's the thing that makes contact with the door latch first when closing so it doesn't scratch up the strike plate over time.

I've got weird nails sticking out between the stem wall and the drywall in the garage

I've got weird nails sticking out between the stem wall and the drywall in the garage. They're spaced out in regular intervals, roughly where you'd expect the studs to be. Is it safe to pull these? Or at the very least cut them so they're not really sticking out anymore?

Here's an example of one: https://imgur.com/a/TMeMHgy

Can I use a circuit breaker finder on a hardwired 24V transformer?

I have an old hardwired Nutone system, which I want to disconnect. It has a hardwired 24V transformer in the wall, which I think might be on its own breaker, but of course nothing in the breaker panel is labeled.

Can I use a circuit breaker finder with the alligator clips adapter directly on the output screws of the 24V transformer?
