⚙️ 3235 Movement Holder — €10

A new movement holder specifically designed for the 3235 movement.

One of the main goals was to make it possible to work on the movement without removing the rotor. The rotor remains attached and is able to float freely inside the holder, so it doesn’t interfere with the movement while it is being secured.

The holder is also compatible with the LH0105-4 hands presser, allowing you to use the press while the movement is securely supported.

🔧 LH0105-4 Flat Base Adapter — €20

The final new accessory is a bottom plate adapter for the LH0105-4 hands presser.

The adapter converts the original base of the hands presser into a completely flat working surface, which means you can now place a universal movement holder underneath the press.

This makes the LH0105-4 considerably more versatile, especially when working with different movements and holders rather than being limited to the original setup.

What's new, and why was it updated?

The main reason for developing the v2 toolsets was the SUB/GMT bezel remover. On some manufacturers' watches, the bezels can be extremely tight, causing the die "towers" to bend outward during removal. This happens because the underside of the bezels is angled rather than flat.

To solve this, I redesigned the bottom die (bezel removal die) to make it significantly sturdier. After many prototypes, I came up with this new design, which is much stronger and more resistant to bending.

While redesigning the tool, I also made a few additional improvements:

• All bottom dies are now 1 mm shorter, providing a bit more clearance when using a watch press.
• All dies are now marked underneath, making them much easier to identify.

NOTE: Only the bottom part (the bezel removal die) has been updated to the v2 design. All other parts of the kits remain exactly the same.

The v2 update was necessary for the SUB/GMT kits, so the v1 version has now been discontinued. However, for other kits such as the DJ36 and DJ41, upgrading from v1 is not necessary. Their bezels have a flat underside, so they never suffered from this issue. I still created v2 versions for these kits while I was redesigning the dies, as they also benefit from the increased strength and the reduced height.

The next big thing: VSF v2 bezel removal

VSF decided to manufacture the bezels on the v2 DJ36 and DJ41 models as two-piece bezels. This creates a problem during removal because only the outer ring is exposed from underneath, where pressure is applied to remove the bezel. As a result, using EZtool alone would simply remove the outer ring while leaving the rest of the bezel in place.

The solution is a set of small tabs that are inserted into the grooves underneath the bezel.

Once the tabs are installed, simply place the watch into the die as you normally would with any other Datejust, and remove the bezel as usual.

I have never found a franken mint green 36 all over reddit so I decided to make a very beautiful and unique piece.

So, I made a post about ceramic coating my bezels before.

Now after many months of having the bezels ceramic coated they will still of course still get dirty - almost looking like oxidation. So now, how can we clean it without making it into a huge project?

The answer: APC (All Purpose Cleaner) for cars, I suggest some premium brand. Personally I used "TPG" that is a Swedish brand with good reputation for APC. Also a fluffy microfibre cloth.

So, one small spray into the cloth and then drag the sprayed cloth with the flutes in the bezel (like go from the crystal - out to the case) and go all around. After take dry wipe the same way with the same cloth and for me that removed all stains, what is left is som scratches and normal wear and tear.

The first pictures are before cleaning, and last pictures is after cleaning.

So, I made a post about ceramic coating my bezels from RCF Remould since I went with the "v1" non plated bezels from them.
