I got to pick up my adopted parakeet today since I got her new enclosure earlier then expected. I named her Cash and she is very cute but she is scared of me so I will slowly work on that so she can trust me one day. I included the picture of her old enclosure from the rescue and her new one at my house.
I was able to pick up my adopted cockatiel today since her new enclosure came sooner. I named her Lennon and she is absolutely adorable and loves people. The pictures are of her old enclosure (from the rescue) and her new one at my house.
Hello! I am so excited. I got approved to adopt the above parakeet from a local rescue. He came in with a cockatiel who I am also adopting. They were both in a hoarding situation and kept in really small cages but now they will get to live with me and get spoiled. I pick them up on Saturday!
Hello! I got approved to adopt my new bird. I am so excited. I have a new bigger cage coming on Friday to keep him separated from my current bird. I just found out from the rescue that the new bird can’t fly so I want to use my current cage for him since it’s about 4 inches smaller then the new cage but how do I disinfect it? Thank you any help.
Hello. I am trying to adopt a new bird. Currently my bird Bowie’s enclosure is upstairs in my loft space. Would it be ok to have the new bird downstairs in my front room until I can put them in the same room?
Forgot to post this on Monday but it was Milo’s 2 nd anniversary adoption day and his 4th honorary Birthday! The pictures on top are when we got him 2 yrs ago.
