I'm looking to get Rikka sometime, but I'm having a hard time deciding which version of her to get. I trialed all three of them, but I'm still not too sure. I'm leaning more towards Standard, though (and yes, I know the technical limitations of AI-trained Standard voicebanks already). Which version of Rikka do you like the most?

Words cannot describe how happy I am right now. Animen/VOLOR got back to me extremely quickly with my code (literally six minutes) after sending my payment info. Take this as a sign they're still up and running for now, though I'd still recommend getting her as soon as possible if you plan on buying her.
I haven't tried contacting Animen/VOLOR yet about her, but I keep hearing people say she's truly discontinued now. Is this true? I haven't bought her yet, but want to in the near future.

These were made for an EarthBound AU I'm writing (all three of these Fandoms + EarthBound/MOTHER 2). I used Ness as reference for Gix and Chase. I used Poo as reference for Cooper (I had to put him on a white background, otherwise his bottom half would be invisible).
For an EarthBound AU I'm working on (crossover with two other Fandoms + EarthBound).
I personally prefer Piko in terms of voice and design overall; he's extremely versatile and his design is very unique and memorable. Even then, I also like Miki's voice and prefer her V2 voicebank over her V4 and Synthesizer V voicebanks (though both have their uses). I also prefer her Synthesizer V design over her other ones. What about you?
Firstly, it should've been a warning sign when they proposed a crowdfunding campaign back in 2020 with nothing but a logo, and the backlash they got was so bad, they had to delay it for three years.
Secondly, they set expectations remarkably high when they actually managed to get support for the damn project. Most notable examples being they marketed themselves as "the future of vocal synthesis," brought back old VOCALOIDs like Oliver, and advertised a massive XLS selection far greater than any other engine. What do they have to show for it halfway through 2026? A single Mandarin demo for Oliver's XLS, no *private beta* (fucking christ), and angry crowdfunders demanding refunds and the merchandise they were promised so so long ago. Keep in mind, the former happened back in *August* of last year, with still nothing close to an actual functioning engine. So much for the future of vocal synthesis.
Thirdly, at this point, they cannot realistically expect to achieve everything they've promised, given the state they're in right now. As far as I know (unless if something else has happened for better or for worse), the devs *still* don't have access to the full codebase and only five devs are working on the project. The two original co-founders of the project left and refuse to speak publicly on it, and the remaining devs don't even have contact with one of them. And that's not even getting to the fact that the amount of crowdfunding money they raised was a measly $40K, which is an extremely low amount for a project like this. Saying that it's being held together by hopes and dreams would be an understatement.
Overall, don't get too ahead of yourself, especially if money is involved. You don't know what could happen in the future. If you're an aspiring engine or voicebank developer, don't take Maghni AI as a good example.
This includes any song made for a game (Project Sekai bring the main example), made as a demo for a voicebank, or any song that the producer was otherwise paid to make. Mine include 私は雨 by 稲葉曇 (made for Project Sekai), and フォニイ by ツミキ (made as a demo song for KAFU).
I'm asking because I want to do some covers/songs with her, but I unfortunately don't have the luxury of owning her voicebank. I don't have any original songs to render for now, but if anyone can render covers for me, that would be great. I'll contact you again to render an original song when (if) I end up getting it done.
I'm asking because I don't believe the answer is as simple as: "Oh, get the AI version because it's more advanced." I'm purchasing her for SynthV 2, so I know that she'll get cross-lang regardless. Though, from what I've seen on Vocadb, her AI voicebank isn't even compatible with SynthV 2. Can someone help me out here?
