Season 4 running subplot lines

With the Topa plot line over (or at least rounded out) with the expulsion of the Moclan’s from The Union and the Kaylon starting their place within The Union. What are we predicting the running subplots to be? Maybe it’s the marriage struggles of Dr Finn and Isaac or the new threat of Moclus and The Krill.

Will a Burnham premiership lead to an even more left behind South West England?

With Andy Burnham set to be our new PM, the so called "king of the north" and already seeing some of his new plans for "Number 10 North" and making Manchester the "Nerve Centre of Rewired Britain".

The South West, I fear could be left behind even more, infrastructure is minimal, busses don't work, 2 train mainlines (one of which isn't electrified) and a road network that sh*ts itself every summer with holidaymakers.

It isn't just infrastructure, it's jobs, there aren't many "high skilled jobs", the economy runs on Agriculture and Manufacturing. This means that young people have to leave to the other regions of the country to find meaningful work.

Now, Burnham is right to look at the north and to burst the London bubble but I fear that Politicians continue to neglect the South West because "it's Southern, it's fine" when really it needs a lot of work and a lot of investment.

How many of you had your regional accent "beaten" out of you as a child because your regional accent made you sound "uneducated"?

Hi Guys,

I grew up in The West Country and had as a child a strong West Country accent. I distinctly remember being told off by parents and teachers for using features of that accent such as glottal stops (not pronouncing t's) in words like better and butter, h dropping and retroflex r because it made me sound unintelligent. Growing up and moving to the South East for a couple of years (before promptly moving back to West Country), I realised that I wanted those features to come back into my speech because of the regional identity.

I have 3 questions for you regarding this topic:

1- Were you told off for using regional accents as a child because of the perceived lack of intelligence?

2- Are you a northerner or a southerner (I want to know if there's a regional difference based on the push for everyone to speak Standard Southern English)

3- Are you worried about losing your regional accent, are you reverting back to it and losing the SSE accent (if you have had it drilled into you)?
