Would this make a good shrimp tank? 10 gallon.

Currently, its cycling. Ive had not so good of luck with shrimp in my other tanks. This carpet was definitely an experiment that far exceeded my expectations.

Recommendations for an air pump

My pump will only produce bubbles when stone is higher in the tank. Any recommendations
