Brainstorming for App Launch to existing communit y (language learning)

Hey there,

I have a language learning business that works really well. We sell a language course and currently develop an app on top to teach the language better.

My challenge: We plan a launch for the app. We have a big community, maybe 40-60yo, mainly expats and language enthusiasts. They are not thinking "yay, app first" but "language/community first".

I am currently looking for proven app launching strategies aka how to build uo an app launch to a warmer audience and would appreciate insights into your experiences.

- how did you market your App launch? (Time frame, communication focus)

- which offers worked well for you

- which small things made the biggest impact (e.g. trial, beta community etc)

- what would you avoid?

- which onboarding would make sense for the new users?

I appreciate your time and answer

Stopping Kratom before surgery. The last 7 gps are the hardest

I have a surgery coming up. I used to take 30gpd for 5 years now and got anxious about the effect on anesthesia as the withdrawal etc can fuck with pain tolerance, amount of anesthesiayou need etc. (If anyone has experience let me know).

Just to share my experience

The surgery is in 1 month and 1 week.

- I reduced immediately feom 25/30 to 10gpd. It was surprisingly easy. I reduced the amount, bit kept thw frequency (4-5 times per day, small amounts)

- Kept the 10gpd for 7 days

- then reduced slowly to 7gpd.

Its weirs but with 7gpd I felt mentally way better than with 30.

Now I reduced down to 3-5gpd and I have to say now it starts getting difficult. Restless legs are starting and wont atop because of the small amounts. Heat, sick feeling, headache etc. I want to be completely off 2 weeks before surgery. So ill take it slow now and taper down over 2 weeks. I hope that will work.

It is pretty uncomfortable. Similar to tramadol. But Im proud for making it. It was purely recreational as Im lucky enough to not need it yet for pain or something. So giving my body a break feels good.

All the best to you guys

Topping a plant that is up to13 nodes? (Photoperiod)

Hey there,

Hypothetically, if a photoperiod plant is at a point where it is up to its 13th node, is it too late to top?

A photoperiod plant and that can wait a couple weeks after topping to recover.

Is it smart to cut back to the 6th node even though that's like half the plant? Or is it better cut to something like the 8/9th node?

Having a very hard time finding anyone with this same question online. Thanks!
