AI is getting better at helping Fakers...
I am the 'Rookie' on a small Indie Game Team, - I have less talent than the rest so I am doing the 'all the other' - small jobs. - this includes screening potential talent. ( Eliminate the fakes and time wasters ) - then pass on the rest for team review. Lately I see that 'AI' is getting better at helping the Fakers - supply me with a 'wireframe' of 'their' work. See my other post 'here'
But now I get a message from some guy... shows me his portfolio... 90% is average with a few 'wow' items - I do a google image search and I soon find the 'real' author.
Rather than confront - I simply ask for a 'wireframe' ( of her face only. )
and I get the 'blender wireframe'.
on first impression - it looks rather good - right ? can anyone see a problem ??
My question to you all is - What is a 'reasonable' request - from a potential employer to a freelance artist ? - to confirm they are the real artist - maybe asking for a 360 render ?
Something that is very easy to create - if you really did create the model.
But almost impossible for a fake to 'fake' ??
Thanks in advance to any useful comments.
