Peak Racism (My Experience With a Car Rental in Tbilisi)

I wanted to share an unpleasant experience my wife and I recently had while trying to pick up a rental car in Tbilisi which I’ve booked through site
We booked a car and took a taxi to the pickup location. Once we arrived I messaged the rental representative to let them know that we had reached the location. I have screenshots of the entire conversation.
A Georgian man arrived with the car keys. As soon as he saw us he called someone and started speaking loudly on the phone. During the conversation he repeatedly referred to us as “Indians” in front of both my wife and me. He seemed to assume that I would not understand Georgian. However I have lived in Georgia for the past five years and can understand and speak some Georgian.
I also have a valid Georgian driving license and have been driving in Georgia. So I found it particularly strange and inappropriate that my nationality seemed to become an issue during the car pickup.
He then asked who would be traveling in the car. I told him it would only be my wife and me. He also asked where we were planning to go.
A few minutes later the rental representative I had been communicating with on WhatsApp called me and said that the car I had booked was no longer available. Instead he offered me a pickup truck. Although this was not what I had originally booked I agreed to accept it.
He then told me that I had to return the vehicle at 21:00 I explained that my booking was from 22:30 to 22:30 the following day so I should be able to return it at 22:30. At that point he started shouting at me in Georgian over the phone. He apparently believed I would not understand what he was saying.
My wife heard the conversation and became very uncomfortable and frightened. Between the repeated comments about our nationality and the aggressive way we were spoken to we felt unsafe and unwelcome. We decided not to take the vehicle and left the location.
For context both my wife and I are doctors and we have lived and studied in Georgia for the past five years. We have generally had positive experiences and have met many kind and respectful Georgian people. That is why this incident was particularly disappointing and unexpected

I need a doctor’s bulletin because I took sick leave from my company.

I went to a clinic today. I booked an appointment through the Imedi insurance app because I had diarrhea. The doctor gave me a sick leave certificate (bulletin) for one day. I asked if I could get sick leave for tomorrow as well, but she said no. I’m really tired and exhausted. Is there any place where they might be able to help me?

Need urgent advice: Uncle landed in Sharjah but has been unreachable for hours

Hi everyone

My uncle flew from Kerala, India to Sharjah on an IndiGo flight today. He called my parents after landing in Sharjah and spoke to them normally. However, after that, he stopped answering calls completely.
My parents waited at the airport for around 5 hours trying to contact him. They also inquired with immigration officials, but were told to leave and were not given any information.
We are very worried because we have not been able to reach him since that first call after landing.
Does anyone know what steps we can take next? Is there a way to contact airport authorities, immigration, or any other department that might be able to help us locate him or confirm that he is safe?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
