I translated one of my games into Te Reo Māori! - I whakamāori au i tētahi o āku kēmu!

Tēnā koutou katoa! Ko Min tōku ingoa, he gamedev nō Te Whanganui-ā-Tara ahau!

He wāhi i tēnei whakamāori kāore i te tika, mehemea ka kitea i a rātou tētahi hē, kōrero mai! Ka whakatika au i ngā hē, ka ako reo Māori tonu au ia ra ia ra kia whakapai taku reo mō ngā whakamaori o muri nei!!

Ngā mihi mō tō pānui mai,
Min

No stems option in Serato DJ pro with Numark Mixtrack Pro?

Here is a photo of my software and hardware!

I'm looking for the 'Replace Primary Hardware Pad Mode with Stems' option but it doesn't seem to be in my Serato settings, wondering if my hardware just won't work with stems?

Thank you so much for your time and for reading!!

Planning a Te Reo Māori panel at a Furry Convention next year, any thoughts?

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-JgcVsyli3Nx\_muGrREneNV9RYwwJgl7jlGMX2yY944/edit?usp=drivesdk

Kia tata te wā o te hui furry ka hanga au i tētahi Slideshow me ngā whakaahua mō te whakatakotoranga nei, ēngari kei te pīrangi au kia whakatiri ngā kupu kua kohikohi au kei kua hē au i te meaning o tētahi kupu!

For those who don't know some of the terminology:

A furry is an anthropomorphic animal (animal with human characteristics), and the furry fandom is a community of people who are a fans of these characters

Fursona is someones anthro character designed to represent themself in an anthropomorphic animal form

Fursuit is a mascot costume that furries wear, like the ones you might see at sports games but of someone's fursona

Dealer's den is cheeky slang for the market that is held at Furry conventions where artists sell prints, stickers, and all different forms of art. I used the term 'rua' for the Te Reo term similarly since I think the play on words is cute :)

Overall just trying to keep this panel simple and trying to provide people easy Te Reo phrases they might start using during the con!!

Ngā mihi mō tō pānui mai,
Min

Looking for Wellington friends to practice Te Reo with! E rapu ana ahau i ngā kaikōrero me ngā ākonga o te reo i Pōneke!

Tēnā koutou katoa!
Ko Min tōku ingoa, kātahi anō au ka mutu taku akoranga i te whare wānanga nō reira e hiahia ana ahau ki te parakitihi i tōku reo Māori i tēnei wā wātea hou :)

Hey all! I'm a 22 year old graduated uni student looking for any hoa living in the Te Whanganui-ā-tara region keen to practice Te Reo with me! I haven't studied Te Reo Māori through classes, I am just a rabid language learner who learns through immersion and self-study. I have wanted to improve my Te Reo for years, but with University being so busy I have only been able to practice by myself!!

Mainly keen on anyone who just wants to get coffee and help each other get used to conversing in Te Reo or native speakers who might just find my proposition interesting. Besides being a native English speaker I have studied Japanese for over 9 years so speak it quite fluently and am learning Spanish so if anyone is keen on a any kind of language exchange that is also possible :)
Message me over dms if anyone is keen! I'm based in Island Bay for reference but can travel into the Wellington CBD and etc

Ngā mihi nui mō te pānui mai,
Min

Te Reo Visual Novel project; looking for proofreading help (with credit)!

Tēnā koutou!

Ko Min tōku ingoa, ā, he Gamedev ahau!

I am a Te Whanganui-a-Tara based Game Developer with a year or so of experience learning Te Reo Māori and looking for anyone interested to help me proofread my script for my first attempt translating one of my games into Te Reo!

My Te Reo creative writing abilities are not the best but promoting the use of tō tātou reo in the indie videogame scene is a very important cause to me so I decided to do my best (leaning on many dictionary lookups and AI assistance for tough sentence structures followed by customizing and tweaking); I have done two proofreads so far but I am sure there are a few mistakes I have missed.

I go more into detail in the Google Doc below, but any contribution small or large would mean the world and will of course include proper credit within the game itself and on the game page.

Here is the link to the script, and here is a link to the translated game (password to access page is 'rangi').

Ngā mihi mō tō āwhina, me tō pānui mai,
Min
