Stabbing pain! Scared..

Can a tight pelvic floor cause brief, needle-like stabbing pains around the anus? Has anyone else experienced this?

Need Advice

Hi everyone. I’m looking to hear from people with a similar experience.
I’ve been dealing with bladder and pelvic pain for about a year. A bladder biopsy showed chronic active inflammation, and I’ve been receiving bladder instillations (I’m down to my last few treatments).
Compared to the beginning, my burning has improved a lot. However, my main symptoms are still:
Pelvic pain
Constant bladder pressure/fullness
Feeling like my bladder is still full even after I urinate
Occasional sharp, needle-like pains that last only a second or two
I recently started pelvic floor physical therapy. During the evaluation, my therapist found significant pelvic floor muscle tightness, especially on the right side, and pressing on the muscles reproduced my usual pain.
Has anyone else had both chronic active bladder inflammation on biopsy and pelvic floor dysfunction/tight pelvic floor? Did pelvic floor physical therapy help with the bladder pressure and pelvic pain? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Help guys

Please, can someone help me?
When I strain or press on my lower abdomen with my hands, I get pain, especially on the right side. It doesn’t happen every day.
Sometimes it feels like a stabbing or knife-like pain.
I also have pain in my bladder at the end of urination.
Has anyone experienced symptoms like these? Please help!

Pelvic floor?

Has anyone with chronic bladder inflammation / IC had pain that slowly improved over many months?
Mine is much less severe now, but I still get left-sided pain when straining or pressing on the area. It feels better during sleep/rest. I’m wondering if this could be nerve or pelvic floor related and whether it improved for others over time.

My doctor mentioned sensitivity of the bladder nerves after Ureaplasma. And apparently that’s my issue (test is negative). He said it just takes time. Has anyone else experienced this?
My symtomps are frequency and pressure
