Illusion food of a different kind! Here's my batch of Zorua brownie truffles for Community Day, plus some Zorua black sesame and chocolate cookies I made for my friends earlier. Hope everyone has a fun CD!
I'm both proud and grossed out by myself for this illusion cake! I made the clams out of chocolate and ganache, with jello to make them look disgustingly wet. The "ice" was jello, lemon slice I hastily made with chocolate and buttercream, sauce was strawberry jam and (split) ganache inside a chocolate cup.
The cake itself was chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and potato chip crunch, with buttercream on the outside and for the bowl.
My husband was super surprised, he had fun slurping up the "clams" along with the cake 😂
Nickit truffles made out of fudgy brownies and candy melts. Had to rush these since I was busy this weekend, so don't look at those cross-eyed faces too closely, but close enough!
My attempt at a cheese pull like Pyukumuku's ability using just bread and mozzarella sticks. Might have burned my fingers a bit getting this shot while they were still hot, but it sort of worked. Dunno if these are cute or cursed, or both?
Honestly if Pokémon GO hadn't helped me find my community, I'd have probably continued making things just for myself instead of getting the courage to start this tradition for my local meet up. I think I've come a long way since. Happy 10th anniversary to Pokémon GO!

It's so fun to make my own birthday cake the way I want it, and this year I decided to make a pond of silly blobs (Quagsire, Clodsire, and family). The cake itself was chocolate with layers of black sesame chantilly cream and chocolate ganache outside, with buttercream decorations and jello for the water. Clodsire's smile makes me so happy~
Frigibax cake pops with funfetti cake inside, dipped and decorated with candy melts like usual. Messier than I'd like, but not bad considering I rushed these soon after making my birthday cake. Happy Community Day everyone!
Clodsire coffee jelly! Felt like they were missing something so I added a Cheri Berry at the end - immediately made me laugh, look at my boy, so bonita. Shiny is ube flavored, details I piped with chocolate and candy melts.
Oh sorry did you want your fish (cookie) sandwiches to be boneless? Feebas shortbread cookies with strawberry cream and a white chocolate bone sandwiched inside because we use the whole fish here.
This little piggy was a truffle! Lechonk Oreo chocolate truffles to be exact. Thankfully this design wasn't hard but there was still a lot to pipe in time, love making this round guy though 🐽🖤
I used some sourdough bread that I cut up, peanut butter, cream cheese, and black sesame butter, but you could use anything similar like sun butter and chocolate, etc.
