
Got a camera instead of a body wash from Amazon, which I should’ve kept.
I am an Amazon Prime Member since about 7 years. I recently ordered a Bath and Body Works Body Wash, and got this Vivo product instead.
Delivery boy asked for OTP, handed the product and left. I could instantly see this isn’t my order so I called him back and gave it to him, as he said he can hold on to it. I then called and reported on amazon customer care immediately. Customer care tells me I did the right thing by giving him back the product and asks me to wait for their investigation which lasts for 48 hours.
I call back next day and hear no investigation was registered. They finally register it and I’m asked to wait yet again, three days this time. Also they can’t call me due to ‘security purposes’ and I have to call them back the next day.
I call back two days later, I’m told as it was a OTP based “secure” delivery and I don’t have the product – no action will be taken from their end.
When did Amazon customer service become so shitty? Products don’t arrive on time, delivery agents refuse to came at the doorstep, and now wrong items are being delivered with no resolution being provided due to their employees’ carelessness and wrong instructions.
