Me and a player are looking for a few more people to join us and play a campaign with the system "thirsty sword lesbians/powered by the apocalypse"

I am looking for 2-3 non-men who like women (men be gone) who are willing to learn this new system with us. We have a problem with people joining to play but then saying they can't play due to various things. I understand that things happen but it's very tiring as a DM to plan and then people leave, so please be sure you can play before you ask to join.

The game will take place in a world based on 1800 america but with fantasy elements. It's not high fantasy but more based on folk lore really. Magic is a normal part of the world and demons and magical things happen and exist but wizards and dragons are not :(. More world building exists in the discord server

I posted here a few days ago that I was looking for four to five players to play a new system I got here recently, Thirsty Sword Lesbians. We ended up being five people but while we were trying to find a time to play, three of the players noticed that the time zones were too different for them to be able to play. So we decided to come back here with the times we can play so maybe we can find someone else who wants to join.

I was at Gothenburg Pride this week and bought Thirsty Sword Lesbians. I have now read the whole book over the weekend and I am practically vibrating to play this with someone. However, all my friends are away for the summer so I am turning to the void that is reddit.

I got the Vedette ship watch from my job at a thrift store because we couldn't get it to start and I liked it. I swapped the battery for a brand new one but when I try to start it it only runs for like 15 seconds.

So I understand that to start it I have to quickly pull the lever from stop to start. To "rev" it up, this causes a spring to spin and the seconds hand to move for like fifteen seconds and then it stops.

Why does it do this, is this something I can fix?
