The first recorded case of infection involving an unidentified biological entity, codenamed "Potato Tuber," was documented in a village near the Belarusian border.

The suspected source was a batch of potatoes exhibiting anomalous characteristics.

NII-95 isolated the infected individuals and initiated an investigation into the newly identified biological threat.

The study confirmed the object's ability to spread through contact with contaminated biological material; however, no effective treatment has been identified.

The object has been classified as a Category II Biological Threat.
