Calling it Quits

Calling it Quits

14 months on the left vs 18 months on the right. Don’t know anymore if it’s another shitty shed or if it looked this bad last time and it was just a little more grown out, or if it’s just lighting. Going on 2 years and feel I haven’t made any progress since 5 months In. I’ve had thousands of vellus hairs for over a year with no signs of them darkening.

Made okay progress in the first few months that gave me hope. Had a shed and thought “this is it it’s going to come back thicker and progress some more” but it really didn’t. It came back to same level and stalled. Made maybe a handful of hairs in the following year, lots of vellus but doesn’t seem any of them matured. In a spot I’d hate to lose what I gained but also I can’t do this for the rest of my life, as some point I gotta call it a day and accept it’s not going to happen for me. Very underwhelming for the amount of money and time put in

Truly Tiny Banana Indoors

I believe I am close to getting a flower in a pot. It is in a 30gallon grow bag under strong grow lights. I keep the room roughly 85 degrees. First picture was the tissue culture I got in June, second pic was August, third was January, and final picture was today. It’s about 4.5” at the base and 42” tall to leaf tip. Canopy has gotten very tight and leafs have slowly decreased in size although nothing has changed. Should be within the next few weeks to couple months if I had to guess. Very exciting (Also through a picture of my Double Mahoi banana in as well) Grown in PA
