Long time holder of the HSBC Star Alliance card and will be very sad to see my gold status with Singapore/Star Alliance go

Spent 33k of the 48k needed to keep gold status this year - reckon if I hit the 48k needed to keep gold for another year they will renew the status?

I am also Starting to look at what card is l now next - interested to hear options

I have a cba platinum and get QF points which I use for domestic travel and happy to flip it to someone else as well

Wife and I a re looking at a new place at the moment as i asked for details a round the body corp and told i need to pay for the report

Another place(s) we have looked at recently have had the report avaliable for us to review

I would have thought in the interests of transparency it should be made avaliable for all who maybe interested

It could be just me, but does any else get p-off when looking at units where you have to buy the body corp report?

My wife and i own a few rental properties and we pay the outgoines (BC/Rates/Whatnot) on credit cards

One of the body corp orgs has recently advised that they are no longer offering cc as a payment option due to changes happeneing later in year

this bill is roughly $2500 a quarter so is good for a few points

how can we get around this change and pay via CC

the org has been using Deft, however they are no longer accepting CC

For anyone that attended - Thoughts?

I thought the content was probably a bit too AI heavy but I get AI is the flavour of the month atm

I do have a gripe however with some attendees who have questionable personal skills - specially when they are focused on getting swag from vendors…. Seems manners go out the window as does concern for anyone around them

I probabaly should get to more events like this but dealing with other attendees is my annual reminder as to why I never really attend these events
