Excellent trip of 11 days in malaysia

Hi all. First and foremost – thanks for being great hosts to so many tourists from all around. Right from airport staff to hotel folks, shopkeepers, cab drivers. Nice mix of culture, landscape, modernity, food, and convenience. This is just the eastern part. The south and west side islands I didn’t even know attract tourists at that scale.

As family of 3, we had nice 11 days in Langkawi, Penang, Johor, and finally Kuala Lumpur. Typical touristic attractions yet very fresh. Flew from Delhi to KL via SG and total 5 domestic flights took us through. After morning arrival-

Day1 – flew lgk, 3N there for skybridge, forest tours, relaxed day

Day4 – flew to PEN, 2N there for culture tours, jetties, hill ride and famous temples, quick ferry ride to and from Butterworth just to explore

Day6,7 – flew to KL for a johor flight but got enough time for batu caves, spent a day in lego!

Day8- 3N in KL for towers and museum, zoo day for famous pandas, quick cable car ride to and from Genting and temple, strolling thru markets, malls, and petalling street for some shopping.

Happy to help anyone planning a trip there.

Scapia zero forex but 3percent charge in foreign app -grab

Hi. Have a ques on this 3% additional charge when we pay using scapia zero forex card in foreign apps like grab while in malaysia.

Is this doable : zoo negara followed by genting awana skyway on sunday

Hi. Same as title. Short on time. Staying near Menara KL in klcc. Seems like zoo and genting island awana Skycab base in same direction.

Is it practical to visit both and decently enjoy both on a sunday? Been to penang hill and Lgk skybridge, so genting is more of an experience trip due to the cable car (but grab + skycab is expensive).

As zoo is priority (kid would love that), have to take genting in 2nd half only. What say?

Loving penang and langkawi so far. What a fun place.

Went to lgk and now in penang. Seen so much. Pit wiper snake in mangroves, fire show at cenang, not easily seen bats in caves, nostalgia causing murals, iconic clan jetties. Lets see what penang hill has to show. What else in penang?

Heading to KL tomorrow!

Rejection reason - SI spends MCC ineligible

Hi all. not a CC discussion. for platinum debit cards, there is a DOM lounge access benefit basis on 10K spends in previous qtr. Just this month got to know from HDFC, my DC based standing instructions for credit card payments fall under MCC 6012 and DO NOT qualify for spend criteria. Surprisingly, i received the voucher SMS for my other platinum debit card on same SI transactions.
See attached.
Anyone faced this issue in this quarter?

(urgent due to port case)

Hi. I have a 3-yr running star comprehensive for 2+1 floater. Adults under 39. No condition, no claims. Want opinion on which insurer, which extra covers.

I came across care, lombard, niva bupa as major options all around 16-17-18k. There is ergo at a premium. Which one is the right call - pure play like care/bupa or conglomerate/ fin house insurers like tata and icici.

I am considering with consumables, any room, 1 yr plan, 10l. Whats your take on must-have covers. TIA
