The best part about the 2004.5 VW GLI, it came with stock 18’ BBS rims (RC336). Need to be refurbished but not in bad condition overall

Did a risky experiment…

bought a cheap Temu brand HKS blow off valve, was only $30; failed within a month to where internal springs failed to open

Bought a real HKS blowoff ($250) and performance is even better

Lesson learned: do not buy cheap mechanical parts

My son helping me tune up the GLI aka his future car (he doesn’t know 🤫)

New headunit installation looks flush 👌
