I hate to be that guy but…

I wanted to share an experience and see if anyone else has dealt with this.

I live in an apartment complex where one of my neighbors repeatedly has their FedEx packages delivered to the wrong apartment. We all know each other, and many of us have doorbell cameras, so it’s become pretty obvious. People are constantly walking over to another neighbor’s door to collect packages that weren’t delivered to the correct unit.

The neighbor whose door the packages are left at is a college student who is away from home most of the time. This time, the package contained essential items.

I told myself that the next time I saw the driver, I’d politely let them know because I figured they’d want the chance to correct the mistake.

Sure enough, I saw the driver deliver another package to the wrong apartment.

I walked over and said, “Hey, not trying to be nosy, but you might want to double-check that address.”

He asked, “Why?”

I replied, “The people you delivered to aren’t even home, and I believe that’s supposed to go to the upstairs unit.”

He just frowned, looked at me, looked at the building, and drove away without checking.

I had to go tell my neighbor that their package had once again been delivered to the wrong apartment.

What bothered me most wasn’t just the incorrect delivery, it was the complete lack of interest in verifying whether a mistake had been made. I used to work for FedEx, so I know how much training goes into accuracy and customer service.

That’s why this surprised me.

Has anyone else experienced repeated misdeliveries like this? If so, what finally got the issue resolved? I also tried calling FedEx customer service to report it, but I couldn’t get through. I also have his truck info, time stamps etc.. literally on camera.

WGU IT/CS Programs Don’t Teach Math……

I will say this: it’s concerning that WGU programs still carry this stigma, especially when people with views like this are often hiring managers or future coworkers. The assumption that an online degree automatically means lower quality feels outdated and uninformed.

WGU certainly isn’t perfect, but neither is any university. Judging graduates solely by the name of their school instead of their knowledge, skills, and work experience does a disservice to both employers and job seekers.

What can WGU do to change this perception? Their Computer Science program is ABET accredited, and many of their IT programs include rigorous coursework and industry certifications. At some point, the conversation should be based on facts and graduate outcomes rather than assumptions about online education.
