Does anybody else have a problem with the way Billy Sparks was used as a caricature character, with no respect for developmental issues in kids?

It’s pretty much what the title says. Characters like Billy Sparks who are kids that are not showing the level of emotional or mental development for their age should be super carefully written in a mainstream show like YS. I was quite disappointed by the way he was used an object of ridicule or laugh inducing scenes through out the show.

Mary Cooper is a great mom and gets unnecessary hate online for no reason

Whenever someone complains about Mary Cooper being a bad mom because she’s religious or regressive, I can only think of my own mom and wonder if she was a bad mom too. I genuinely believe my mom is the best mom in the world. What people, especially the extreme progressive ones tend to forget is that, we are all a product of our societies.

A young mom who lived in small town Texas with three kids in the 80s, one of them a serious social outlier, not being religious would make her the outlier. Yes, she was too religious and forced it on the family passively. She prayed all the time and assumed it will solve problems. But, deep down she meant well, just like own mom.

She raised me religiously, definitely had restrictions my freedom based on some regressive religious practices, but did she mean well and only want the absolute best for me? 100% yes. Would I have someone else as my mom? Absolutely not. I’m sure Sheldon wouldn’t either.

EDIT FOR PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT HER BEING KINDER TO SHELDON: There are several episodes dedicated to how she feels bad for giving the extra attention to Sheldon and makes it clear in front of everyone how Missy or Georgie would get to decide the restaurant or how Sheldon needs to take a backseat. When you have someone like Sheldon at home at a time nobody really had any clue how to raise him, it’s obvious that you’re more worried about him. Also, it’s small town Texas in the 80s. She’s probably the most progressive mom you’d get. She made a female baseball trophy for representation. Also the show is literally called Young Sheldon. It’s ABOUT Sheldon primarily.

EB2 NIW Profile Evaluation

I'm considering pursuing an EB-2 NIW and would appreciate an honest assessment from those who have successfully obtained one or work with NIW cases.

Profile highlights:

  • M.S. in Industrial Engineering + B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
  • ~8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, energy engineering, and mission-critical infrastructure
  • Specialize in data center infrastructure, HVAC systems, energy efficiency, and infrastructure reliability
  • Led engineering initiatives resulting in measurable energy savings (150+ MWh/site annually in current role and 3,000+ MWh across prior projects)
  • Developed standardized engineering frameworks deployed across multiple facilities
  • Experience in industrial energy assessments, demand response, grid efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure
  • Master's research focused on machine learning for energy consumption prediction (6,600+ downloads, 4 citations)
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Engineer in Training (EIT)

Proposed endeavor:
Advance energy-efficient, reliable infrastructure for mission-critical computing and industrial facilities in the U.S., with a focus on scalable HVAC systems, energy optimization, and resilient infrastructure supporting AI, cloud computing, and the digital economy.

I'd appreciate feedback on:

  1. Does this appear competitive for an EB-2 NIW?
  2. What do you see as the biggest strengths and weaknesses?
  3. What additional evidence would have the greatest impact before filing?
