⚡ Is This TOMZN Protector Worth It for My Gaming PC? Need Advice!

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to get this TOMZN voltage protector from tomzn.pk:

https://tomzn.pk/product/tovpd1-63vae-4-in1-tomzn-voltage-protector/

It costs around Rs. 3,150, and my total budget is Rs. 5,000.

  1. Is tomzn.pk a genuine/authorized TOMZN seller in Pakistan?

  2. Is this protector good for protecting a gaming PC from voltage fluctuations and surges?

  3. My home is not properly earthed/grounded. Will this device still provide protection?

  4. With a Rs. 5,000 budget, what would you recommend for protecting my PC, GPU and PSU from sudden voltage spikes?

Any recommendations or personal experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

Need advice on buying an official PTA-approved Pixel 8 Pro (Budget: Rs. 85k)

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to buy an official PTA-approved Google Pixel 8 Pro, and I have a few questions for people who have been following the market.

  • What's the current market price for an official PTA-approved Pixel 8 Pro (128GB)?
  • I've heard the government reduced the Regulatory Duty on imported phones by around 20% from July 1. If that's true, shouldn't Pixel prices be coming down instead of increasing?
  • Some sellers are quoting much higher prices than I expected. Is the price actually going up, or are shops just waiting to adjust?
  • My budget is around Rs. 85,000. Is it realistic to find an official PTA-approved Pixel 8 Pro in this range, or should I increase my budget?
  • Lastly, where would you recommend buying one? Any trusted shops in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, or reliable online sellers?

My priorities are:

  • Excellent camera
  • Official PTA-approved (not CPID or patched)

I'd really appreciate advice from people who have recently bought one or know the current market. Thanks!

Best phone under 72k–82k Rs? Pixel 8 vs Pixel 7 Pro or any better options?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to get a phone with a budget of 72,000–82,000 Rs, and right now I'm mainly considering the Pixel 8 and Pixel 7 Pro.

My priorities are:

  • 📷 A really good camera (this is my top priority)
  • 🎮 PUBG at 90 FPS or higher with stable performance
  • 🇵🇰 Preferably PTA approved (or at least something that makes more sense than these two)

If there are better options in this price range, I'm open to suggestions. It doesn't have to be a Pixel if another phone offers a better overall experience.

I'd also appreciate hearing from people who have actually used these phones, especially for gaming, camera quality, battery life, heating, and long-term reliability.

Need an IEM recommendation for music + competitive FPS (around 2000–2500)

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to buy my first decent IEM and could use some advice.

My budget is around 2000–2500, and I'm looking for something that can handle both music and competitive FPS games really well. I don't want to buy separate earphones for gaming and music, so I'm hoping to find one that does both.

I mainly play:

  • Rainbow Six Siege
  • Valorant
  • PUBG
  • Call of Duty: MWII
  • Free Fire

For gaming, I care most about accurate footsteps, good imaging/positioning, and decent soundstage.

For music, I listen to a bit of everything, so I'd like something that's enjoyable overall with good detail, clear vocals, and bass that's present but not overwhelming.

So far I've been looking at:

  • 7Hz x Crinacle Zero:2
  • Moondrop CHU II
  • Tangzu Wan'er SG II (Jade Dragon Edition)
  • KZ Castor Pro
  • TRN Conch
  • Simgot EW200 (if it's worth spending a little more)

If you've used any of these—or have another recommendation in the same price range—which one would you pick and why?
