[Part 2] MyTalk, CoS's Duolingo: Home Page

Link to the first post with full explanation and credits can be found: Here.

Basically, I'm trying to recreate what Duolingo would look like in the Chants of Sennaar world. This is the second part, where I've made the home page. For this, I made a custom number system which is functionally the same as Chinese, but inspired by the Alchemist numerals. I thought it felt fitting. Anyway, the key for that's on the last page.

Note: On the translated page, blue represents my new numbers, red represents glyphs I made up, and white represents glyphs in the game or in the expanded Devotese (link/credits in original post, which is linked above.).

For this series, I'll mostly be having the "student" doing lessons on the Bard language from their native language, Devotese. Please let me know if you spot any errors, have any questions, or have thoughts to share!

[Part 1] Introducting MyTalk, Chants of Sennaar's Duolingo!

First, big thanks to this post for inspiration (user now deleted):

Duolingo of Sennaar

and u/atzurblau for the Expanded Devotese I used which can be found:

Expanded Devotee Logography

This is the first post of a series of "screenshots" of MyTalk, my fanon Duolingo for the Tower. I drew this up on Canva so y'all will have to excuse my poor drawing skills!

This is the screen where you choose the course you'd like to take. Translations are on the second page and the glyphs I made up completely are in red. Others are in the game or part of the expanded list I linked in the introduction.

Let me know what y'all think and other ideas you have for this series!
