One time, I had a laser session for the facial hair on my chin, and the attendant accidentally burned my skin. I’m currently recovering, but it left a scar that developed into a keloid. I read online that silicone tape or silicone sheets might help with healing. Do they actually work, or at least help reduce the size or appearance of a keloid?
After that experience, I honestly don’t plan on going back there anymore, even though they offered me free laser treatments for the hyperpigmentation and other concerns. It’s just hard to trust them again, especially since they aren’t licensed doctors or aestheticians — only trained personnel.
Also, do you have recos for creams as well? TYIA.
