Bought this in probably 2013 new from Fry’s Electronics (RIP). Came with me to tons of conventions since I used to table in the artist alley and those were the days when everyone had their 3ds with them, so I collected lots of street pass! This sat unused for years, then as I was doing research about how to play some games that weren’t available on Switch, I found all the instructions on how to mod the console. As someone that’s never used an emulator or modded a system before, it was super easy to follow the written guides! Happy all the old stickers still look fresh after all this time, had a clear soft cover on it that will be replaced since it yellowed over the years. Overall I’m happy that past me kept it in very good condition!

Went during opening night last night, lots of very cool vendors spread across two buildings. They have a ton of local,international, and independent publishers, magazines, zines, artwork… it’s also right off a Metro stop too! I think they will want you to RSVP in advance for Sunday even if it’s free, today and tomorrow is $8 admission.

Lovely to walk around and take a look at all the lovely artworks and enjoy the music! One of my favorite coffee shops is just a block away too (Coffee JPG) and they have a really good matcha drink. It’s also just a cute downtown to walk around and check out!
