“Aging Out” of KP

I have KP on my arms that, like many people, was inherited from my parent(s). I have heard that often, after reaching a certain age range, people begin to notice it slowing down and eventually smoothing out entirely. For my mom she was about 30. I’m a few years off from 30 but was wondering if anyone has an experience with “aging out” of their kp at any age. I do feel mine has smoothed a bit in recent years, but it is still there. Redness will remain an issue long after it (hopefully) leaves, but that’s a different bucket of beans

Beginning B1.1 self study after Goethe A2.3

I just finished Goethe A2.3 and am looking to begin self-studying B1.1. I was wondering if anyone has any tips and resources for consistent learning and progress that is structured.

I have heard Goethe follows a similar framework to the Hueber books, so if anyone has had success with Hueber Menschen B1.1, let me know. This would also be a plus because I'd like to continue with Goethe in the future and if I can have an idea of the level I'm at when I start back up that would be great. I have also previously used Nico's Weg/similar resources. I do many study sheets and flashcards on my own already (in conjunction with the courses I was taking) but am really looking for a way to structure the learning and continue moving me forward.

Also, for what it's worth, I live in a German-speaking country, and my husband is fluent in German, so I am immersed/able to practice speaking and exposure readily.

Dermatitis… down there

Bit of an embarrassing post but seems to be a common topic surrounding cycling with a vagina. Basically I bike a lot and went for a very casual evening ride with my SO. Thought it would be brief ride on my city bike so I was wearing jeans. Ended up being longer than expected and caused some friction/itching down there. I think I absentmindedly scratched, and for the past week I’ve been stuck in a cycle of that delicate skin being incredibly itchy after touching it in any way (biggest issue is soaping while showering). I’m certain it’s not a yeast infection but find myself stuck in this itch-scratch cycle. I don’t feel like it’s healing even with some cortisone cream or protective creams at night. It doesn’t itch all the time but when it does it’s unbearable…. Has anyone experienced this? I’m at my wits end!!

Timeline - Issuance from Abroad

Just renewed my passport from abroad (Switzerland) due to getting married and changing my last name. I just got the alert that it was sent back to me yesterday. Super impressed with the speed. Here is the timeline:

July 20: Mailed to Bern

July 22: Arrived in Bern, embassy sends confirmation email

July 27: Passport status updated as "Processing" at the facility in the US (Tucson, specifically)

July 28: Passport mailed back to me

??: Delivered... would guess within the next week I'll have it.

All in all, it'll shake out to be about 2 weeks! Took me longer than that to get all the documents together ;)

Recurring tonsil stones - need adive

I have an enlarged tonsillar crypt in one of my tonsils that is the perfect place for tonsil stones to form. I have good oral hygiene, but this area is not really able to be cleaned or cleared very easily, as it's sort of a little pocket. Every time I remove a tonsil stone, more come back very quickly. I only ever get them in this little area. I'm at my wits' end and don't know what to do to stop them from forming.

Dry Forehead in T Zone - Need Help

I have been struggling with a very dry center of my forehead. It is not flaky or tight, and not noticeable unless you touch it, but it feels a bit rough.

I have always had sensitive, dehydrated skin, no matter what I do. I would prefer no skincare routine advice, because I cannot imagine what else I could do skincare-wise to help this. I currently use a milky toner, barrier repair serum, thick moisturizer, followed by an occlusive or oil. I could not add more hydrating into my routine if I tried. I have also worked on this routine with my esthetician and derm over the course of years, and with my sensitive skin, I feel afraid to change it. I also never chemically exfoliate this area because it irritates it/worsens it. I don't physically exfoliate ever.

My forehead has never been oily, but it's gotten even drier this summer. I have not changed anything, including shampoo. I was wondering if it's the result of more sweat, therefore salt, on the area, but that seems like it should resolve, and it is not. Please help!!
