I have watched about 20 or more YouTube videos instructions about how to do it. So i got the maximum info needed but Its my first time doing it so thats why its so special. I did work on some brakes on other cars before but im only the assistant. This time im all alone. Remember this is a 2015 cx5 and so applies to 2014-2012 cx5 models. 2016 models are different as they have to engage in maintenance mode with their electronic parking brake. What is different? The fuckin piston retract job..yes, you just c clamp that thing on 2016 and newer model but my cx5 needs you to retract them properly by rotating the piston ring while pushing it hard. One hard to hold the caliper while the other hand pushes it with a ratched and adaptors in the tool. Pain in the butt. Be careful not to damage the sorrounding seals are you turn them in. I used that leslie cube tool. Its a piece of junk. You have been warned. Do not use it. Use the clamp tool with rotating feature. Ditch the cube tool. Do not use. The other parts of the job are easy. Removing wheels, caliper pins, caliper bracket, greasing them shims etc..brake clean this brake clean that. Steel wire clean this and that. Torque em into specs. Ez pz.
