Baby boy names

What baby boy names did you love that you didn’t end up using?

Expecting our first baby and I am stumped with with boy names!!!!!

I typically like indie/nature/trendy(ish) names and 1-2 syllables.

My last name starts with a B and I love the idea of alliteration!

E file

Looking for a new powerful efile to start filing my dip off instead of soaking my nails in acetone.

I have one that works great off Amazon, but none of the attachments file deeply enough for me to solely use for removal.

FTM showing

When did you start showing? I am only 14 weeks and feel like I already have a bump. I know it is just bloating, but when did you start actually showing and when did the bloat settle?

I feel like I am so uncomfortable in my body because I usually wear fitted clothing and now I am wearing loose tops / dresses to hide my bloated bump.

Lump along jaw

I am 12 weeks pregnant and had a routine cleaning 1.5 weeks ago. After my appointment my lower right teeth and jaw were extremely tender. I have impacted wisdom teeth and had a root canal in my lower right molar ~1.5 years ago. After a few days (now Saturday) of persisting discomfort, I noticed a small pea sized lump on my jaw that felt like a deep bruise.

Being pregnant- I called the dentist that following Monday and asked to be seen that day due to fear of a possible brewing infection. They got me in 30 mins later and examined me and said everything looked great and it is probably the hormones making me sensitive to the previous exam- very common in pregnancy. No sign of infection and sent me on my way.

The day after my second exam, I was very sore again. They did a good job to tap check all my lower teeth and gums, felt along my jaw inside and outside of my mouth, and checked my lymph nodes under my jaw.
It is now 3 days after my second exam and I woke up very sore from sleeping on my right side. The lump feels like it has shrunk in height, but feels like it has spread to the size of a kidney bean.

I still have no signs of infection. No fever, redness, visible swelling, anything like that. Just the lump and discomfort- and some tapping sensitivity that waxes and wanes in the tooth in front of my root canal.

I am at a loss of what this could be and the level of concern I should have.

Is it possible that it really is just the pregnancy hormones making me extremely sensitive? I am now 1.5 weeks out from my original exam still dealing with the discomfort and want to do what is best for my baby.

Painful lump on jaw

I have impacted wisdom teeth that have not been removed. I had a dentist appt on Monday and noticed some discomfort in my bottom right molar and along my jawline on the same side. I have been taking Tylenol the past couple days to deal with the pain. It feels like a very deep bruise.
Today I touched my jaw and found a firm painful lump that is below the molar I have been having discomfort in.
I am pregnant and anxious that an infection could be brewing.
My dentist is also now currently out of network with my new insurance so I’m anxious I’m going to have to find another dentist to address this.
I do not have a fever, redness, warmth, or visible swelling on the inside or outside of my jaw.

Has anyone else dealt with this and know what this is?

February baby

I am pregnant with my first and am due in February. I live in New England and it is just now donning on me that I will be delivering in the worst possible month with the snow. My hospital is 45 mins away from where I live and I’m starting to feel panicked.

Any fellow winter mamas out there that dealt with snow / bad weather during their due date?! How did it pan out for you?

Just wait until….

I am 9 weeks and have not yet shared with anyone except my husband and doctors. I had my physical last week so I mentioned it to my intake nurse so she could relay it to my PCP before she came in the room. Imagine my shock when she says “just wait until they have a mouth and can talk back”…. This is my first child and I cannot believe at just 8 weeks I was already experiencing what so many pregnant women do- THE NEGATIVITY!!! I just laughed it off but wth???

I am nervous to share my pregnancy because I have a close friend who did this to our mutual friend her ENTIRE pregnancy. “I’ll tell you the truth about motherhood because no one told me” and it was ALWAYS NEGATIVE. My friend was also a first time mom and was horrified.

How do you deal with these types of people and comments? I know I am going to be getting them from such an array of people and I am already irritated and angry about it.

I am a very positive outlook type of person and want to keep that mindset throughout my pregnancy while also protecting my peace.

Dip powder first trimester

I recently found out I was pregnant and my OB recommended avoiding dip powder until my second trimester. I currently have an old dip manicure on my nails that I need to remove. I have only ever removed via the soaking method but I’m nervous this isn’t safe.

Does anyone have any other methods that get it off quick without soaking in acetone for 10 mins per hand?

I am going to take a break from dip to try adhesive press on nails 😕

Heading up to Rodney Bay for my honeymoon and looking for recommendations for both fine dining (bonus points for a great view!) and casual eats as well as a quality coffee shop. I am a New Englander and love iced coffee but have had no luck in Soufriere so far- is no iced coffee an island wide thing?

Would love to go zip lining, ATVing, jet skiing, and visit Pigeon Island but looking for other things people who have visited loved!
