CD Player (portable)

Hello! I’m currently looking for a portable CD player and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on where to buy one (or what brand is best)?
I found some on Coupang and some on 당근 market but I’m not sure which site to go with. I’m leaning toward 당근 since the prices seem more affordable but I’ve never ordered from here

Pokémon Mega Festa 2026

Hello! I’m wondering if anybody knows, or heard, anything about the Pokémon Mega Festa happening in Busan this weekend?😃
I’m a fan of Pokémon and would like to visit but I haven’t been able to find much information about it. I know they will be holding a sort of stamp even like they did last time. I guess my main question is I’m wondering if there will also be some merch available?

Looking for where to get a haircut

Hello! I’m looking for a place to get my haircut😊 preferably somewhere in either Seoul or Gwangju. I’m not very good at Korean so I’m looking for a place that is foreigner friendly and can maybe communicate in English. I’m not planning to do anything besides a cut (no coloring or perm)

Metamong Playground

Hello! I visited the Metamong Playground about 2 weeks ago and it was very fun but a lot of items were sold out😥 I tried asking the staff if things would be restocked but couldn’t get an answer. Im planning to go again before it closes and am wondering if anybody happens to know if there will be restocks or if I just need to get there early, wait till the doors open, and hope for the best?

The first time I went I got there very early(I was number 60some) but while walking around the area to kill time my number got called and by the time I got there (maybe 10min after my call time) it was already packed😭 and it didn’t help that it took me quite a while to figure out the shopping app

Beauty standards are bullshit. Attraction is entirely individual.

My friends and family are sick of me saying this but it just bothers me so much and I’m sick of being treated like I’m the crazy one. Why am I somehow crazy for not considering certain celebrities attractive?? Why is my questioning of the beauty standard treated like I’m being “not like other girls”??

Attraction is subjective.
We know this. We say it. We hear it.
But then why is there a supposed “beauty standard”?
If beauty is subject why do we have this notion that some people are just factually, universally “hot”?
I think the beauty standard is just absolute bullshit subliminal messaging. I think people have forgotten how to acknowledge what they truly, individually, consider to be attractive.

Whenever “Big Media Corporations” want to push a celebrity into the spotlight they shove them down our throats until they’re all we see. They show us a face next to the words “hottest,” “sexiest,” “most attractive,” “most charming,” and were so bombarded with the attack that we start to believe it.

But do we actually find any of them attractive? Really take a second to think about it. Erase everything you know, every magazine cover you’ve seen them on, every character they’ve portrayed, and really think. Do you find any of them attractive? If so, what is it that is attractive about them, again really take a second and think about it. But if not, what/who do you find attractive?

Too many times it’s happened that in conversations about attractive celebrities I just agree with the people around me or i find myself spouting off any recent celebrity as being attractive; all the names said are ones that have been TOLD TO US are attractive. But when I sit back and really think about it, I don’t find them attractive at all…I’m just going with the flow. I hate that.

Rosacea Type 2. I just found out I might have this how to I treat it?

I have been fighting acne for years, and have unfortunately developed some mild paranoia (trauma?) in regards to my skin. I’m currently living in Korea and finally plucked up the nerve to find a derm here (a bit far from my place but worth it!). He was very kind and informative!! He says that the issue with my skin isn’t acne but rather type 2 rosacea. He gave me 2 weeks worth of medication to help with managing my skin but I can’t help wondering what do I do after the 2 weeks😥? He did mention I could ask a dermatologist closer to my home to refill the prescription (the derm I went to is quite far in a different city) but then do I just have to keep taking this medication forever?

I’ve been living in Korea for a while but the city I live in isn’t very big so I sometimes worry about the possible language barrier when I go for certain treatments.

I want to get my teeth cleaned and checked properly and narrowed down my search a bit to these clinics,

Inseonguk Dental Clinic

Doctor Noah Dental Clinic

Seoul Jeseng Dental Clinic

I’m wondering if anybody can tell me if they’ve visited any of these places(and liked or disliked it) or if there is another dentist you would recommend?😊
