RAM Upgrade for prebuilt

Canada

Hi, I had recently bought a used gaming setup that is a pre-built. These are the specs:

PC:

ASUS ROG Strix G10DK

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB

12GB DDR4 RAM (4GB + 8GB)

512GB M.2 NVMe SSD

500W PSU

Windows 11 Home

I want to upgrade RAM to probably 32GB ddr4. I am saving up for it. Some AI conversations said that I should not buy Corsair LPX and that it will not work properly on a prebuilt. It said to go for Gskill or Team force.

I don't really understand a lot of the pc terms or why some things wouldn't work with things.

Can some help me figure out which ram I should go for? My main use will be gaming, mostly RPGs and some triple A games down the line.

Right now all I'm saving up for is RAM.

Then eventually few years later I'd like to either buy a new PC or build one myself (once I learn).

Appreciate any suggestions, thank you

30M kinda new to gaming, need friends

Hi everyone, I'm a casual gamer who has a PS5 and recently got a PC, but haven't really played a lot of games. I've been playing Rdr2. Just tried Valheim on PC today. I have Project zomboid I'm interested in. I'm basically down to try anything as I don't know what games I'll dislike (maybe sports). I just don't really like playing alone and prefer to have company. Feel free to reach out if you think you'd get along.

Need help figuring out my PC

Hi everyone,

I'm very noob to PC's wanting to learn. I recently got a setup off of facebook marketplace as follows:

PC:

ASUS ROG Strix G10DK

AMD Ryzen 7 5700G

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB

12GB DDR4 RAM (4GB + 8GB)

512GB M.2 NVMe SSD

500W PSU

Windows 11 Home

Monitor:

Acer ED273 27" curved

1920x1080 (1080p)

180Hz refresh rate

With my minimal knowledge reading into things, I understand the 8 + 4 Ram setup is not ideal? I'm aware of the pricing of rams are high right now, but I'd really appreciate some help figuring out what I should go for to upgrade it a little. Also want to upgrade the storage to atleast 1TB.

I'm in Canada, if that makes any differences. I don't have a huge budget but trying to get an idea of what I should save towards.

My uses/needs: Gaming for the majority part (would like to play games on decent graphics and heavier games if I find one I like), photo editing (lightroom) and general browsing.

If there's any other info I need to provide, I'll try my best to find it. Thank you for the help!

Police cars parked by Mission flats lights?

Been seeing few cop cars parked on the side where the stop lights are. Anyone know what's happening? There was quite a few today there as well.
