How soon after your lap did you “try”

I had my lap 3 weeks ago now. They also did an D&C. In my follow up the doctor suggested trying naturally the next few cycles before moving on to fertility treatments. Did you try naturally the same month, or did you wait until the following month to “try”?

My estimated cost - is this right?

I received my quotes for IVF as well as IUI. As much research as I have done, the one thing I haven’t really understood fully is what a true estimated quote would be, so I’m a little bit sticker shocked and want to know if this sounds right. For context, this is South Florida.

IVF: $29,000 with with an estimate estimated $5000 - $9000 cost for a medication. This would include PGT – A testing for up to eight embryos.

IUI- $3000 with an estimated cost of $2200 for medication.

Weight gain after lap?!

I’m 15 days post lap. I’ve had reduced activity, probably eating but worse than usual too - but I’ve gained almost 13 lbs since my procedure 2 weeks ago 😳😳😳

I realize I’ve probably retained some water and am bloated, but has anyone felt their weight change? I can see it in my entire body, not just my stomach… does the whole body retain water and swell?

Hi! Has anyone experienced a rash from the chlorahexadine/iodine after their lap? My stomach is so red and bumpy. Ice helps… any tips and tricks?

I’m scheduled for surgery very soon. I’m trying to learn more, I found that many people take the receptiva test. I never heard about this before, and my doctor didn’t mention it. Aside from not being able to become pregnant in 8 years, and sometimes having terrible periods, I otherwise don’t have any other symptom. Is it odd to have surgery without ever doing a test if one is available?
