To the new hobbyist don’t give up.

As the title says this is my first war game coming from D&D. I am still far from an effective or equality painter. But as I’ve hit 9 months here are some things you can feel pride in when comparing ourselves to those who have been painting for a long time.

- Improving color pallets to increase contrast
- Mastering priming models and the basing process
- Going from 3 color models to other more colors
- For the film accurate painters, learning to blend colors to get the right balance
- Having greater army cohesion either through basing or other unifying techniques

It was for me and can be demoralizing seeing so many high quality paint jobs constantly. Know that it comes with time and all the skills you’ve learned along the way. My first and most recent paint jobs as someone still very much growing in the hobby elements.

Commoner run

I am about to finish up my second play through and used some new units but, I have always considered if anyone has done a run without the royals? It seems that the princes and princess have the best passive character abilities. Anyone tried to do a commoner run or one of the early characters that you feel people sleep on?
