Working on Getting My Pottery Skills Back

Haven't touched a wheel or clay in 7 years til a few weeks ago. Still rusty compared to what I used to do but I'm happy with what I can still do. First seven pics are recent, the last 4 are from back in college.

I'm currently leaning into the nature theme hard and I hope to get my skills back up so I can make a really cool teapot again.

Snuggle Bats

At least one of these 2 bats always shelter under my carport during the day. When just one shows up I get worried about the other but sooner or later I'll see them both hunkered down together again.

The Trash Is Taken Out!

Had a horrible coworker who refused to do any work and just stood around the garden cashier stand blocking customers.

Well, the idiot decided he was gonna hit on the 17 year old garden cashier even tho he's 40 and married with 2 kids. He was so creepy towards her we took her out of garden and away from him for her safety.

I think he knew he was gonna be fired cause he called out for a few days but today he came in and was promptly fired! I love a happy ending!

(He also had the audacity to ask to buy something first while he was being escorted out by the store manager.)

I didn't drink the alcohol!

I had a really sad week, the baby birds I was keeping an eye on at work got killed by an animal. It may not seem like much but I was gutted and cried off and on the whole work day I found out. After work I went and bought alcohol but when I got home I knew it wouldn't help and would only make things worse so I asked a friend if they wanted it instead.

I'm really proud of myself that I didn't use alcohol or weed to get through my sad day. I felt the emotions and let them go instead of trying to numb it all out.
