How good is E1 Cerydra for E2 S1 phainon (no cyrene)?

Hi everyone. I'm really debating if I should upgrade my Cerydra now, or if I should invest in one of my newer teams, or get someone like Robin Sumeretto for him. I really like Phainon and would like to keep him viable for a while. My next team plan will be Himeko Nova, once I feel good about where Phainon is at. I have her at E0 S1 and am debating whether I should get E1 Cerydra or E1 Himeko Nova with my guarantee.

So I guess I'm just asking, how good is E1 Cerydra, really? My E2 S1 Phainon clears most things, but I waste some time getting him into ult (I usually run sustainless with e0 sparkle w/DDD, e0 cerydra w/DDD, and e2 bronya/e0 s1 sunday). The defense shred would probably be nice too. I'm not getting Cyrene just because I can't really justify the cost, since I don't really have other teams that would benefit from her.

Please tell me how your clears improved, or didn't improve, I guess, with E1 Cerydra and no Cyrene.

E1 Himeko or E1 Cerydra? (For my current teams)

Ok I know I am asking a slightly biased community (haha) but I need someone to be objective with me about my pulling plans.

My favorite team is my Phainon team, followed by Himeko Nova team. My Phainon is E2 S1, and I have E0 Cerydra, E0 Sparkle, E2 Bronya, E0 S1 Sunday. I usually run him sustainless and can clear most things (for now).

I was planning on getting E1 Cerydra to make sure that his team can be viable for a while, since I couldn't really justify getting Cyrene.

I had enough saved for E1 S1 Himeko Nova, but I got unlucky and basically ended up with E0 S1. I will be pulling on rerun, but I'm worried that I won't get enough for E2 since I tend to have bad luck.

I now have a guaranteed character on my next pull and I should be able to farm enough to pick up either E1 Cerydra or E1 Himeko Nova.

I'm really not sure when Cerydra will re-run so logically it's probably best that I invest in her E1 first? I'm having the problem where all of my favorite teams share all of their supports, and a stronger Cedyra would free up Sparkle.

Or, should I wait entirely and pick up Robin Summeretto? (I don't really like her as much but if she is BiS she's BiS...)

Be objective with me because the heart wants Himeko upgrade now but the logic part of my brain is saying that she'll probably be back sooner.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to encourage everyone to contribute towards a master list of commonly suggested fair olive makeup hacks/shade suggestions, since I swear that is the most commonly asked topic on here.

Hacks for makeup shades that don't match:

I'm sure you all have also accumulated foundations and concealers that are the right shade but not the right tone. Here are some suggestions for making those shades work so we aren't just throwing our money in the trash till we find a match.

Foundation slightly too pink?

Solutions:

A) embrace the pink!

Underpaint your face (add pale pink color corrector under the eyes and around the nose)

Add blush at the high points of the face and (hear me out) powder blush lightly added with a fluffy blush to the jaw and neck. I do this when I want to wear a color that makes me look a liiiitle too jaundiced. You will look fair neutral or fair cool instead of fair green/grey.

B) add color corrector (pale green or mint) to look properly your shade.

Foundation too warm and too dark?

A) add blue and white mixer.

Foundation too pale?

Mix in a tiny bit of liquid bronzer or use bronzer on the high points of the face. If too pink, add green mixer.

Foundation too dark?

Mix in a lighter color. if too orange, add a bit of blue mixer and a lighter shade.

Suggested blush shades for muted cooler olives:

- mauve shades and muted purple or brown blushes

Blush shades for brighter cool olives that like a dramatic blush:

-Lilac/lavender/berry blush

Suggested blush tones for muted and warm leaning olives:

-rose browns, dusty peach shades, any combo of pink + brown

Blush shades for more fair, golden warm olives, or fair warm olives with more contrast that like a dramatic blush:

-Brown blushes, terracotta blush (look for reddish/brown shades)

Very neutral? Just go with whatever your heart desires. Go by contrast level- stuff from the muted list will work for most low contrast folks, stuff from the dramatic lists will be nice for those of you with more contrast.

Of course everyone is different, so know that these are just suggestions based on what I've seen recommended in this subreddit!
