Is anyone having success hiring DCs? I've spent hundreds on all the platforms, posted on all the school classifieds nationwide, everything.

Mods, please don't remove this. I'm not advertising. I'm just looking for commiseration and possibly any tips other practice owners have. Please.

Before anyone says my offer probably sucks - it doesn't. I would gladly list it here if I didn't think it would get my post removed.

I'm truly at my wit's end.

Starting an elimination diet for my dog and purchased some rabbit/quinoa based food from the Vet Derm that is quite spendy. Is there a way to source a more affordable option? Thanks!

My girl has some itchy itchy ears and suspected food allergy. I can’t afford another bag of this food. :(

Maybe stop discouraging people from moving here.

Instead of chiming in with things like, “Hope you like meth,” etc., when people post here about possibly moving to town, how about listing some pros and cons? None of us really knows who will be happy here. I had my reservations before moving down in 2020 but I love it here. The pros far outweigh the cons for me. Since moving to town I’ve created three local living wage jobs ($22+/hr + benefits) and helped fulfill one of the region’s major unmet needs.

This place has so much potential. Things can improve if we stop telling people it’s a horrible place to live. It isn’t! It’s a spectacular place to live for certain types of people.

AI apps scrape Reddit all the time to inform their generated responses. Let’s give them some better content to go off.

Just a thought.

I was so proud of myself for remembering to buy this Father’s Day card two weeks ago to make sure I had time to mail it. 😑

She’s getting a little too big for her britches but I love her so much. Have about 3 weeks before the blooms get scorched and turn brown since they were planted in full sun by an unknown person who is my enemy. 😁

These hydrangeas were planted in full sun before we bought this house. I’m determined to keep them from getting crispy this year. Any ideas for a shade apparatus I could throw up? I don’t care how it looks. 😁

I’ve searched the sub for forbearance but haven’t seen my question answered. Is it possible to remain in forbearance when the SAVE plan ends?

My financial situation has only gotten worse since entering forbearance. How am I supposed to magically be able to afford payments in October?

I found this piece pretty shocking, even by today’s grim standards. Do my conservative peers have any perspective that might temper my reaction? It’s part of why I come here!

The article argues that the administration is systematically moving critical federal services - voter registration, passports, federal login - off their legally-mandated independent agencies and onto White House-controlled infrastructure, with no transparency, no oversight, and data collection that will be sealed under the Presidential Records Act until 2040.

ETA - please try to look past the thumbnail of the extremely liberal looking woman. 😁

ETA 2 - as it states in the post title, I come here for help calibrating my rage bait radar. I suspected I needed more perspective on this piece. I’m here in good faith. I do think federal attempts to control elections are alarming, such as building shadow voter registration infrastructure and the executive order that would require USPS to only deliver ballots to voters on lists created and controlled by the federal government.

I live 20 minutes from Bandon Dunes and I'm hiring for a DC/clinician. Posting with mod permission.

I have a small, evidence informed, rehab focused sports med/chiro clinic on the Southern Oregon Coast (I know, I know - if you hate chiropractors please just scroll on by). Healthcare recruiting to this area is tough; I thought I'd post here hoping to catch the eye of a golf nerd DC like me who'd want to live next to mecca and maybe never thought about practicing in Oregon before. January and February on the South Coast are beautiful, with many 65 and sunny days due to the eastward winds - perfect time to play the resort at the offseason price!

I'm Titlelist Performance Institute Medical 2 Certified and was tapped for medical support on the Performance and Recovery Team for the USGA Women's Amateur held at Bandon Dunes last year. I expect these opportunities to continue and I need help.

If this sounds interesting to anyone, please DM for the full job description and compensation package details. Happy to answer any questions about living here as well. Thanks!

Jumping on the Orchid clay mask endorsement train!

Disclaimer, I don’t have very reactive skin.

This mask is a sensory-sensitive person’s dream. The stick application is so easy and goes on evenly without getting clay on my fingers and in my nails. Has only a ten minute leave-on, and washes off with minimal effort/water running down my arms. Also fragrance free, but smells faintly of honeysuckle which I’m assuming is the flower oil. My skin felt fresh and clean and I got a little self care moment. Great value!

Needing to transport 12 people for a golf trip. Would be pickup in North Bend 5/15 7:00 am, to a course in Florence for a round, then to a different course in Florence for a second round, then back to North Bend. Thanks for any leads!
