Downtown shower facilities

I was hoping to get a run in on the MGT tomorrow before the Jays game, but to keep my fellow baseball patrons happy, I'd like to shower and change after my run. I've looked into gyms near the MGT and couldn't find anything that has a day rate (just annual memberships or no prices quoted at all). I can make the UofT Athletic Centre work, but if anyone knows of a gym/fitness centre handy to downtown with a day rate, please let me know. TIA.

Edit: Thanks everyone. Expanding the search from private gyms to the Y and Toronto community centres has done the trick. Lots of facilities to choose from. TIL. All the best.

Rogers Internet and throttled modem ports to Gold SE

I purchased a Firewalla Gold SE because I had Rogers Fibre (Canada) installed at 2.5Gbps speed. Only to find that the XB8 modem Rogers provides has one 2.5Gbps port on it. The other three are 1Gbps. With only one port on the XB8, which gets it's signal from a Nova-2002 ONT, that leaves the three remaining 1Gbps ports back out to the Gold SE. Has anyone replaced the XB8 (otherwise known as the CGM4981ROG) by just plugging the Nova-2002 directly into the Gold SE 2.5Gbps port? Digging around a bit suggests to clone the MAC address for the XB8 to put it in the Firewalla settings but before I try any of this, I thought I'd check in with the community here. Any settings or other configurations to try? Thoughts? Interesting that Rogers has been happy to bill me for 2.5Gbps service but made it impossible to actually use that speed. I've put the XB8 in pass-through mode and turned off the Wifi, and I use the Gold SE as the router. TIA

Cautionary Tesla Charging Tale

On a recent road trip, I enabled Valet mode while my 2025 iX xDrive 50 was parked at the hotel. When I picked the car up to leave, the data feed from the car had died (couldn't unlock the car from my phone to load luggage). I entered my PIN to load my ID, but I didn't check that the data feed to the app had been restored. My bad. I charged twice at Tesla Superchargers on the way home (46 kWh and 32 kWh). I just plugged in both times, with no app intervention from the Tesla app or the myBMW app. Both times I was charged $60 Cdn. I believe this was because Tesla/Shell Recharge didn't get the correct kWh figure from the chargers or the car at the time of the charge. I had no issue with the billing for charging on the way to my destination (42 kWh for $21.85) when the data feed was live. The odd thing about this is that the kWh usage is logged in the myBMW app for the two $60 charges even though the data feed was broken, but somehow not communicated to Shell Recharge. I'm speculating that the loss of the data feed to the app from the car enabled a flat-rate charge from the Superchargers. I fixed the issue by flipping to Guest ID, then back to my ID, and the data feed was restored.

So make sure you have data to your app if you're going to charge at Superchargers, otherwise it's going to be a very expensive trip. I'll call BMW on Monday, but I'm sure the TOS has this covered that it's totally on me for the flat rate cost. This is really bad for us because we came from a Q4 where the communication to the vehicle from the app was so flaky (couldn't charge using the free charging with the car, couldn't precondition etc etc), we got rid of the car and purchased the iX.

Service Centre Can't Service T-Touch

I'm looking for suggestions if any are even realistic. I took my almost 20 year old Tissot T-Touch in to the factory service centre in downtown Toronto. I'd tucked it away in a drawer for almost 7 years (yes, my bad) so I took it in for a checkup and a new battery. Service said it needs parts that are no longer available and are going to just return the dead watch to me. Anyone have any ideas on how I can revive this watch? I get that if the factory can't, it's likely dead, but for a watch that was $2,500 new, I'm a bit disappointed with the whole thing. Thoughts? TIA.
