2015 Macan Turbo - PDK weep hole leak

I purchased a 2015 Macan Turbo and did not get a PPI. Turns out there were several fluid leaks including the infamous timing chain cover leak, coolant leak, PDK leak. I fixed the coolant leak myself with the radhaus aftermarket hose. I had the dealership fix the PDK leak but they are saying they are now seeing oil leaking from the weep hole which indicates an internal seal is damaged and the entire PDK needs replacing. I definitely can't afford to replace the entire PDK and the repair bill will likely be more than I purchased the car for.

With only this info, does anyone know how serious this is? Will I be able to get a couple of years out of the car making sure the PDK oil is topped off every few thousand miles, or is the PDK on its way out?

So happy to be back in the 911 after waiting a full 1.5 months on getting transmission replaced.

I'm the second owner and shifting never felt 100% - it would sometimes grind gears going from 1st into 2nd at redline - very rare and seemed to only happen after it was hot from track usage or spirited driving. Had the dealer check it out and they adjusted shift cables but couldn't reproduce the issue (suspect because they weren't getting the transmission hot enough). I've been driving a manual for 25 years and never had any problems like this so don't think it was me doing it wrong... Clutch fully depressed before shifting etc. and never once happened with redlining 2nd into 3rd, or 3rd into 4th (on the track).

Either way on March 14th after a spirited driving in the twisties it suddenly wouldn't shift into 1st or 3rd after smelling a horrible burning smell. For a few moments it felt like I couldn't move the shifter at all but I kept working the shifter around in neutral and it allowed me into 2nd/4th. I limped to the dealership using only 2nd gear (totally stalled a few times in front of people walking around - how embarrassing) and there it sat on the lot while we waited on a new transmission to ship to the dealership. They finally got it in on Monday and Tuesday evening I picked her back up with the BIGGEST smile on my face.

Service advisor was cool enough to take some pictures as they were installing the new transmission. I'm taking it easy breaking it in for 500 miles or so, but hopefully this will give the car even more life as I drive it 200,000+ miles into the future. Cheers 🚙💙
