Hi all! My husband and I are considering a move to the Eau Claire area. We're expecting our first child in September and will need daycare as we both work full time.

If you're paying for daycare, what are the average costs for full time infant care? Do you like the care you receive? We'd prefer a daycare center but are open to hearing all perspectives!

I only have an oven and a gas grill. I would like to not ruin these ribs- best tips for preparation?

Hi all, BBQ is one of my favorite food groups but I’ve not stepped into making much of it myself. I’d like to start more this summer but feel a little intimidated by my inexperience.

So couple questions:

1. is grilling considered to be the same as smoking? Is a dish only considered smoked if the item is kept off direct heat, like an oven would do, and had a smokey flavor? Can you combine the two?
2. trying to smoke on a gas grill is ill advised? Is a grill the same as a smoker? Do you need a dedicated smoker like a traeger to do anything other than grill?

Is 1900 a month a reasonable idea for the cost of infant care? Thanks!
