Was it a scammer?

I won't give names, but I was contacted by a famous screenwriter and producer and we talked and moved the conversation on whatsapp.

It went well, until he/she started presenting me a crypto investment site and assured me I will win a lot of money.

He/she kept insisting I should join and won't stop praising it and presented me evidence(screenshots) of his/her huge earnings from that site. I just blocked that screenwriter. Was it a scam?

Two questions...

Hi, I'm rewriting a screenplay I wrote and have two grammar questions:)

  1. Which is the right way to write:"Sarah rides shotgun", or "Sarah is shotgun"? She sits next to the driver...

  2. Which question sounds right: "When was the last time you took a shower", or "When was the last time you showered"?

Thank you for reading this!:)

What would this mean for screenwriters?

What would the new AI movies mean for regular movies and screenwriters?

This is a dream of mine and I wrote a few scripts, but by the time at least some of them will be ready enough to be submitted to the industry, will I still stand a chance for them to be considered?

Does this say I should quit this screenplay?

Hi, I submitted one of my scripts to a free feedback site, and the rewiever said the screenplay lane(that of reluctant heroes and their action stories) is very crowded. Here is part of the feedback:

Your character instincts are strong — that's the thing to build on. You know how to create a lead that people want to watch, so lean into that harder. Next time, pair that same instinct with a concept that's bolder and more unexpected — something where the premise itself makes people say "I haven't seen that before." You've got the casting instinct; now swing bigger on the idea. That's what gets you from a crowded lane into your own lane.

I didn't understand some of it...Does it say I should quit this particular script and choose another one with a new concept, or change it to be more unique, bolder?
