The undergrowth stalker (Lignum Venator) is capable of dynamic physical reconstruction. It can adopt a low profile with additional appendages, shift into a bipedal stance, disproportionately extend its limbs, and transform into a hardened structure for protection or ambush.

Despite it's aquatic build, the Gleam-Crest is remarkably agile on dry land. It expands it's glowing membranes to send low vibrations across the water when threatened. Local folklore calls it the "Lumencrista", a ghost of the swamp, warning travelers never to follow its light into the dark.
