Probiotics with ibs-d

I was recently on a 10 day dose of bactrim (thank u diarrhea lettuce) and have a history of bad ibs-d. I’ve tried random probiotics in the past that have made things worse so this time, after the bactrim wrecked my gut microbiome, I decided to start slow to build it back up. I started taking Florastor 1 pill daily, as well as Culturelle baby probiotic drops which contain lactobacillus rhamnosus gg (LGG) and bifidobacterium animalis (BB-12). 5 drops contains 2bil CFU’s so I’m starting slow, then will work up to the point of being able to take the pure encapsulations pureGG 25b which is just LGG 25bil CFU.

Everything’s going fine so far EXCEPT I’ve actually been constipated the last few days since starting all of this and I’m assuming it’s the Florastor? Does anyone have any experience taking this daily/is it acceptable for long term daily use? I know it doesn’t colonize in the gut so continued use is needed for it to be effective but I just don’t know if that’s how it’s intended to be used or if it’s intended to be more “as needed”. Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated, I feel like I’m starting from scratch but hope this can help me on my ibs-d journey!

Mag glycinate for sleep, stomach problems?

Been sleeping like crap lately and wondering about taking magnesium glycinate to help, but I have a sensitive stomach (ibs-d) and am worried about the mag glycinate affecting that. Any experience with this? Worth trying? I’ve seen some people say it’s a miracle supplement and others say it’s the devil lol

Spiro and spider veins?

I (29F) recently started 50mg spiro daily for hormonal acne and after about a week noticed some small spider veins on my thighs that weren’t previously there. I was looking into it and I guess the decrease in androgen can cause weakness to vein walls resulting in them, but most sources say spiro and spider veins aren’t directly connected. Anyone else have this as a side effect? Wondering if I should keep taking it if they’re going to worsen with continued use.

I (29F) started using tret consistently in February-ish. Started 2x/week, went up to 3x/week, every other night, and now I basically do nightly (sandwiched between lotion) unless I sense even the teeniest bit of irritation (tightness, redness, etc.) then I take a 1-2 day break. I started it originally for the closed comedones on my chin, to help with my clogged pores, and for fine lines on my forehead. I’d say I’ve probably only been using it nightly/nightly with a few breaks for about 1.5-2 months. The past 2 weeks or so though I’ve had bad cystic acne on the sides of my chin! Can’t figure out if it’s a purge, irritation, or if I should just give up. Any advice would be appreciated
