Why does the world not feel like it used to?

I’m 26 and have a good job, good benefits, a beautiful wife and daughter.. and something in this world still feels off.. sometimes I feel sad, I won’t be able to give my daughter the childhood I had/ felt. The world felt magical and big, and opportunistic. Now with the way the economy is going. And the cost of living, it’s like they just keep raising the bar up and up. That sense of “accomplishment” in life just keeps disappearing. Like owning somethin your proud of and worked hard for. I don’t know im just rambling but the world 110% to me dosent feel as it did. It feels heavy. And sad, spread thin. Nothing is genuine anymore. I can’t make sense of it.

Low energy and no drive after having a kiddo thinking about TRT

Before having my kiddo, I was very active. Training Muay Thai and MMA 5-6 days a week and lifting weights. Since having the major life style change of a kid and being a blue collar shift worker, I barely train anything anymore as it is. Went to a TRT clinic, they pulled my blood at 262 as a walk in. I’m 26 years old, about to be 27. Sleep isn’t perfect obviously with work and a kiddo. Nutrition definitely isn’t what it used to be, I do workout here and there when I can, and I want to workout more. Just don’t feel I have that “drive” im considering TRT and wondering what are everyone’s thoughts?

2006 ford F250. 6.0 162,000 miles. NON STUDDED. NON deleted. Front end just completely gone through. Wheel bearings, brakes all around every component. Newer tires. Front end alignment. Edge CTS3 monitor. No tunes. EGR still intact. Adult driven. 4 inch custom turbo back exauhst by fab-worx in NJ. New FICM. New MISHI moto CAC cold side pipe and boots. Starts up fine. Oil changed every 3K miles. Rotella red ELC coolant swapped. No lights on dash. Cold A/C heat works. BONE STOCK TRUCK. Just curious. Was thinking $14K

Horror marionettes

Bought this at a show today, just seeing if as many people have an interest in these things as I do. Would something like this have a resale value? Not looking to make money. Rather just back what I spent if sold in the future.

How’s this 6.0 hot start sound? Seems a little longer than usual to me.

2006 6.0. DATA logging reads good. FICM was just done. Reading 49-49.50 volts. ICP is good holding 580 at idle. And IPR is at 24%. Hot idle. Could all just be in my head. I just know depending on the day it cranks a little more or a little less. Looking for opinions. My guess was maybe fuel EVAP, from the heat outside. Today’s weather was 90 and humid today.

Why does it seem blue collar work is where dreams and ambitions die?

Before everyone jumps down my throat, yes therapy could help too instead of asking random people on Reddit, however recently I’ve been feeling like this.

I have a good career, good opportunity, union gig, I’m humble and live within my means. However it isn’t fulfilling a ton. I’m 26 years old, have a beautiful wife, and our little family.

Now back to the blue collar work, I just feel like before I got into construction I had so many dreams and ambitions and goals. And energy. Now I just feel kinda “here” and dull. We make good money, pay for somethings and the cycle repeats that’s it. By the time the days done im tired, hour commute in, hour commute home, 8-10 hour day, that’s 12 hours roughly everyday. Thats before gym time, making food, ect. And after a while you get so mentally drained and into a routine. It’s basically all you do. I know us humans are creatures of habit. However it feels blue collar work more specifically construction, doesn’t leave much room for much else at the days end. I feel like there should be more to life then just work. And yes I know some are going to call me weak, or lazy, or gotta want it more. I’m open to it.. but is it wrong to feel this way? Longing for who you used to be before careers took over? And materialistic things? Dreams, goals personal life. I get home at 3:30- 5 most days and should be in bed by 9PM. That leaves me 4 hours a day to myself and family. Only 28 hours a week to myself. Really just asking to see if anyone else feels this way? And how to manage it.

What coolant do you think this is? 6.0 powerstroke.

The left is zerex GOLD. new coolant. The right is I’m going to assume motorcraft gold coolant. I can’t tell… I’m trying to maintenance my truck. And can’t tell what coolant is in what came out. As I don’t want to mix coolants. My deltas are fine. Just trying to do a basic drain and fill. 6.0 powerstroke.

6.0 VGT sweep at highway speeds?

Is it normal for the turbo to occasionally sweep while driving highways speeds every couple minutes? Noticed today. VGT would go from 55-60% say 80MPH. Unloaded. Then would occasionally go down to 15% and would slowly step its way back up to 55-60%. Truck otherwise runs normal. No codes. No boost leaks. No lack of power. Im gonna assume this is normal, as its opening and closing sensing load on the road? Like a slight uphill?

Truck is a 2006 F250. 159,000 miles. Bone stock. EGR is still intact. FICM. Was just recently replaced about 500 miles ago with an aliant FICM.
