like you see her sitting outside the guidance counsellors office right after she witnessed you bleeding from the arm and you’re like “this is obviously about the position i got weeks ago that she didn’t”

cross tapering from lexapro to luvox

i saw my doctor today and asked about switching medications from escitalopram to fluvoxamine because the escitalopram has started to become ineffective for managing my symptoms and i’ve heard good things about luvox for OCD. this is my first time tapering off any medication, let alone cross tapering. going off vyvanse didn’t really involve a taper since i only took it as needed and i’ve never had to switch between two meds. i’m worried about serotonin syndrome since a friend had it and i have no idea how my body responds to this kind of change. does anybody have experience with cross tapering these two meds? how did the taper effect your OCD symptoms?

it’s glossed over that Becky went to literal conversion therapy

that’s the post. i feel like the seriousness of that experience was not delved into nearly enough. it would’ve been really interesting to see them talk about how bad conversion therapy is in more depth than Riley lightly researching it and it being mentioned that Becky was sent there.

for context i’m (F21) a pad user like 95% of the time. i only use tampons when i need to or there’s nothing else available, so i don’t think i quite have the knack for them. when wearing tampons, sitting is just slightly uncomfortable, and i often have minor leaks. do i need to go up a size? or am i not putting them in deep enough? i have minor vaginismus (it’s gotten much better since i was a teenager) so tampons are still somewhat intimidating to me and putting them in is usually kind of uncomfortable. any advice/insight would be appreciated.

today i used a cardboard applicator for the first time because its all my boss has in the shop 😭 im all for sustainability but FUCK cardboard applicators
