ATTN: Gentlemen with fine moustaches! Want to try a new locally made competition-grade moustache wax?

I've developed a new superior-hold, hopefully competition-grade moustache wax, and I'm aiming to have some local moustachiosos test-drive a tin to see if it's as good as I'd like to think it is!

Any fine moustache-havers want to try a free tin of locally-made 'stache wax?

All I ask in return is honest feedback (you can just send me a DM after trying it) to let me know if it holds as well — or hopefully even better — than what you're used to.

It's also made with beeswax from local bees!

This season of LOST (err I mean Alone)

Every now and then when chatting with friends I'll accidentally refer to the show Alone as "LOST" and have to be corrected.

But it occurred to me this season Jacks is even being terrorized by a smoke monster.

At least there are no "others" to worry about.

LIR to Nuevo Arenal taxi cost nowadays?

I'll be looking to get from the Liberia airport to Nuevo Arenal.

A google search says a taxi takes 3 hours and costs $250 USD, but Google Maps shows it as only a 45 minute drive.

What should I expect in the real world?

[Luna Ultra] Firmware Update Wishlist: It would be nice to have a proper timelapse / timed shot photography mode

One slightly disappointing thing about the Luna Ultra is its timelapse mode isn't really timelapse photography.

Maybe I've just missed something in the settings, but every time I take a timelapse instead of saving a series of photos, it just takes a video file.

It's limited to 4K and fixes the frame rate, but moreover it doesn't save the individual photos after it constructs the .mp4 file.

It would be nice to have a simple timed-shot mode that takes proper full-resolution photos for each frame and saves them in JPEG+RAW so users can process them properly in our preferred software :)

[add-on DEV] How do I tell my Thunderbird extension to open a 3rd party app or run a shell command?

I'm making an add-on that adds a menu option to the right-click context menu whenever I click on a link in an email.

The new menu option will open the link in an incognito/private browser window instead of a normal browser window.

I've got the extension working up to the point where it will send the link URL to the console when I click on the new menu option, but I'm struggling to find any kind of documentation that shows how I can pass that link URL to a 3rd party app so that I can call firefox with the --private-window CLI argument.

window.location(URL) just seems to open a new Thunderbird window.

What's the proper way to do this?
