So I bought an authentic game from a friend that has a region-free 3ds.

I was with him when he first used his 3DS and first played the game on it. I saw a black screen with some lines of text pop up on his screen (I couldn't read it though), and it hasn't done that ever since. It only happened on his first play time.

I tried that same game on my 3DS then the console just farted out. Now when I try to turn my 3ds on, there's a loud popping noise and then the console shuts down. Is this caused by the cartridge or is it a coincidence?

My 3DS was probably bought around 2013-2014. It's the original turquoise one. It has not been tampered with in any way whatsoever.

i was curious to know who your oshis are if you have any!! i personally have a few oshis, but my kamioshi is hatsune miku while the other few are vtubers and anime characters !!
