Do you tip food trucks?

Had a food truck that came to my apartment complex entrance and setup, looks like they come twice a week. I ordered and when it came to paying, I saw the tip option.

I ended up not tipping, but since it was a food truck with only 2 workers I felt a little guilty afterwards as it seemed like a humble operation.

But at the same time, I am paying for their food, at their price. I am picking up the food myself. Using that rationale I don't usually tip.

I also always dislike the idea of asking for a tip before you receive your purchase, I might get paranoid they'd dislike me not tipping and screw with my food lol.

Do yall tip food trucks in general or is it circumstantial, or not at all?

He just lays on my feet and gives me these eyes

I know he loves me but he also might be bribing me with cuteness for food. It has worked a little too often with my mother lol

Would I have any potential stretch marks if I went from 225 to 175?

I'm a little over 6ft, maybe just shy of 6'1. Not super fit but you could maybe surmise that I lift occasionally. Used to be an avid runner and peak performance weight was around 165.

Maybe the context isn't even necessary, but would a natural drop in weight over time back to the 170s leave any of those marks behind I see with more drastic weight changes? 50 pounds sounds like a lot to me.

Just hit 30, I'd like to see what running slim feels like again and it crossed my mind!

Just had a post removed here because it wasn't long enough, let me "stretch" this one out some..

Past the weight, my ultimate goal is to break 5 minutes in a mile again! In the end, I know the marks wouldn't matter because the outcome outweighs that silliness, just curious.

Mom used the Nextdoor app, saw a listing for a house to rent for only $1000 a month and contacted the "owner" to meet at the house for a tour.

She texted me those baseline details and said she was going to head to the location and meet with the owner at noon-ish the next day.

The price obviously immediately gave red flags. She suspected as well. Did a map search of the neighborhood, not bad. The low price made no sense, but hey, maybe someone had a gruesome death in there.

I decided to go with her. As we're getting close and texting them we're 10 min out, we're told it'll have to be a tour with them on the phone instead as something urgent came up. I'm checked out at this point but we decided to at least show up to see it.

We get there, get them on the phone, and they urgently want us to follow a link texted to mom's phone to invitationhomes.com in order to verify us for a doorlock code. A dude was on the phone with an unfamiliar accent, mom previously messaged a woman on Nextdoor.

Link was received and clicked regrettably while I was checking the backyard out and mom in front. It started with needing her name and dob. Info was entered.

I walk back to the front & I'm back in the picture at this point as the next page populates. It's asking for ID/passport info along with some other personal info I didn't even get the chance to read, as I immediately closed out of the page.

Before we close out the call I instead ask for an in person tour at a later date but he says he's a pastor and he will be in another state handling another property in the upcoming days. Oh thank god he's a pastor lol, let me give you all my info.

We ended the call and left.

My problem with all of this is: Nextdoor is legit, invitation homes is legitimate (I think?), but the whole setup here was way off. So many red flags.

What do we think here? Can answer additional questions.
